Saw the Flecktones twice at a small outdoor venue here in Chattanooga years ago. Have you heard his bluegrass album 'Drive'? It is earlier than his more progressive work. Simply amazing musician.

    Heard a few releases

The one I have is Béla Fleck & The Flecktones ‎– Flight Of The Cosmic Hippo

Can you ask him that I get better purchase conditions in Germany for my business ? 😂

Send him an email and tell him you know me

Keith Eichmann of KLE cables -- http://kleinnovations.com

We tried a set of his interconnects and SPDIF cable on my system to compare

Keith has a great ear for detail and was very forthcoming in his opinion

In the end we coined a new phrase to sum up everything we heard

We both agreed that the system had a “Superior Layered Harmonic Resolution” - A new term to describe realness in audio

Remember The Cat from Red Dwarf?  He was played by Danny John-Jules, who is now a member of the cast of Death in Paradise, a detective show set on the fictional Caribbean island of Sainte-Marie, actually Guadeloupe.

Danny J-J plays an older police sergeant, who’s still a bit of a playboy.  He thinks he can charm any woman for help or information, and sometimes he can.  The show is pretty formulaic, but it’s still fun, in a gentle way, with no car chases or gunfights.

Yes I am aware of that

Have seen all seasons of Death In Paradise as well more than once 😎

I never was able to receive HHGG, so I only know it by reputation, and from the movie, but I suspect that the series was much better.  Too much to fit into a single movie.

I am a big fan of Red Dwarf, though.  Great stuff!

Don’t bother with the HHGG movie - It was crapolla in my opinion

Best is still the Radio series as you can use your imagination

Loved Red Dwarf - seen it original and re runs about 20 times

  11. I watched Monty Python on TV when I was a kid - Think I get my sense of humour from them and similar British shows

Another is a SciFi classic The Hitchikers Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adam’s

I would listen to this series on radio late at night and later the TV series

Okay, Slade were good, but better than The Spiders From Mars?

    Different Spiders were more rock

    But Slade is better

Kiss is the closest to them - Think they followed the formula

Be aware that Slade was first a skinhead band 🤪 before a change of direction

According to Wikipedia, Noel Gallagher of Oasis once described How Does It Feel? as “one of the best songs written, in the history of pop, ever”. Def Leppard covered it on their 2006 album Yeah! James Blunt performed a version of it during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando, Florida. What do Noel Gallagher, Def Leppard, and James Blunt all have in common? Nothing. And that, in its essence, is what makes Slade one of the greatest bands of the 1970s. Their influence is as wide as it’s long, with everyone from Nirvana to Cheap Trick and Kiss to the Sex Pistols citing them as an inspiration. They shaped glam rock, pioneered hair metal, and delivered anthems like this. Whatever else they were, they weren’t crazee.
