  1. James Franklin gets paid more than Ryan Day and deservedly so after calling plays like this. Hard to watch....again 1. Nick Saban, Alabama -- $9.753 million 2. Ed Orgeron, LSU -- $9.012 million 3. Dabo Swinney, Clemson -- $9.508 million 4. David Shaw, Stanford -- $8.924 million 5. Lincoln Riley, Oklahoma -- $7.672 million 6. Dan Mullen, Florida -- $7.57 million 7. Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M -- $7.5 million 8. Kirby Smart, Georgia -- $7.133 million 9. James Franklin, Penn State -- $7 million 10. Ryan Day, Ohio State -- $6.614 million
  2. Hey Jimbo UM...er...I mean....MU is looking good this year! This may be the year they beat OSU. She going for a Pharm D or PHD? Congrats either way
  3. Big time D1 College football and basketball draw in huge amounts of money for the university. I thought some of that money was used to finance minor sports such as swimming and diving
  4. https://www.yardbarker.com/college_football/articles/michigan_state_reportedly_working_on_10_year_95m_contract_for_mel_tucker/s1_127_36468215?utm_source=mb&utm_medium=email&mb_edition=20211119&mb_loc=right_h One good season and a 10 year $95M contract? Nice.
  5. I had to google "surrender cobra" I understand it now
  6. I can't take it anymore 😬
  7. Penn State vs Michigan this Saturday at NOON?! Really?! NOON?! Not worthy of prime time or even 3:30PM?! Who decides on starting times? The TV networks? Sure PSU is 5 and 3 but this is a classic matchup. Schedulers expecting PSU getting blown out? Now I have to stay over ibn PA Friday into Saturday for the game Sigh
  8. Big game for PSU against Illinois at the Big House this weekend. Oh. and Clifford is expected to be 100% healthy Words from a broken man who hired a new agent and thought he had the leverage to renegotiate his contract with PSU because of interest from LSU and USC. This season, Franklin will make $5.4 million — and his yearly compensation will go up as each year of the contract passes. ... He's guaranteed to make $5.5 million in 2021, and his compensation will increase by $250,000 for each season through 2025 Ryan Day will make 6.6m this year. Does Franklin believe he should make that kind of money? With that said, PSU will play OSU close or even win and we'll be throwing money at Franklin 😀
  9. I thought recruiting was his forte? ( Forte. get it?. See what I did there? 😀) PSU is currently ranked #3 in the 2022 rankings above OSU Oh, and back up QB Taquan Robinson received an offer from OSU after he committed to PSU He was good enough for OSU but not good enough to play against Illinois? What are they doing with hime? Remember Justin Fields? Well, he does deserve credit for taking the program out of its dark days, beating OSU and winning the Big10 championship in 2016 LSU and USC have shown interest Odds this is his last year?
  10. I think the defense will but they can only hold out for so long Clifford played hurt Saturday and it will be a miracle if he's 100% for OSU Again, year after year, weak offensive line and this has been an issue since Franklin arrived. Absolutely no run game. Biggest running threat now is Clifford. With him playing hurt, totally a one dimension offense. Having superfreak Saquan Barkley and QB McSorely in the backfield made up for it a few years ago. Not with today's roster. OSU will be going after Clifford for sure May even knock him out for the rest of the year Season over Who's going to the Penn State v Michigan game? Lucky me 😞
  11. and PSU was favored by 23
  12. That's not Maryann THIS is the Maryann I remember And yes. Ginger is high maintenance :^)
  13. From Wikipedia "She apparently auditioned for F Troop (1965) on a lark. She was not quite 16, having obtained the role with the help of a forged birth certificate that indicated her age was 18 and kept her real age from the producers. When she had secured the part, she told them her real age. Their shock and consternation were ameliorated shortly thereafter by her maturity and professionalism.[3] "
  14. Clean hit. No question And yes, it's on the coaches to ensure your backup is ready. The kid was totally overwhelmed and unprepared. Some key passes were dropped for sure and the illegal motion flags on the OL was pathetic. Total offensive implosion. PSUs running game has been pathetic and Clifford getting hurt was always a fear and know its reality. Fortunately we have a bye week and them face Illinois We had a more than competent backup last year named Will Levis. He's starting QB for the #11 Kentucky Wildcats now. DAMN YOU TRANSFER PORTAL!😀
  15. Soooooo....... If your starting QB got knocked out of the game, how confident would you be with the backup QB? What a nightmare😞
  16. Underanked? They're 3 in the nation😀 Chose Colorado? Yea, that was a mistake😄 Were you there for this?
  17. Who's going to the Penn State v Michigan game? yep, it's me😀 I feel like I have to. They win when I'm there I was there for this. What a night!
