I know and it’s a real bummer!

Hey Audiophiles,
If you have a working pair of Sansui SS-100 cans for sale, I’ll gladly take them off your hands. I can’t go above $350 however. -
Medical gummies absolutely count 👍👍

SOLD>>>
For Sale… Harman Kardon HK930
Asking $565 shipped.
I came across this receiver back in late 2012, here is a cut and paste from the ad from when I purchased it...
This HK 930 twin powered receiver apparently was a store demo unit back in the early 70's. I got it from the gentleman who owned the store. He said it was packed away in it's original box after being used in the store for a year with headphones only, never having speakers connected to it. Claims it has never been used since.
It still has the blue protective plastic around the chrome and definitely looks like his story.
He said it was forgotten about till 1980 when found in the back of his store. He then had it bench tested at that time and repacked it away. The bench test record is still in the box with all the original packaging and paperwork.
There are small fine marks around the head phone jacks attesting to his story, I had to look real close to see them though.
There are no indication that anything was ever plugged into the back.
The original extra fuse was still taped to the back when I pulled it out of the box for pictures. It fell off at that time and is in the box now.
I have brought it up on a variac and it is in perfect working order, one bulb is out and will leave that to be replaced by the purchaser as this is all original and unmolested. As in new condition
I did not open up the case but shined a flashlight in and it looks brand new inside also.
This is the finest HK 930 I have ever seen period and will make a perfect addition to anyones collection.I used it sparingly for about 3 years and then in 2016 I took it to one of the best tech guys in the Toronto area and had him do a recap and replace a bunch of resistors.
Since then it has not been used much, primarily for listening to FM in my main system.
She is still spotless, just as it was when I took delivery, I even left the blue protective plastic around the chrome bezel. To avoid any international shipping hassles for US buyers, I will ship insured from Niagara Falls, NY.
I will add some pics tonight and I can be emailed some for those interested.
Thanks for looking.
Holy smokes! What a cool backstory and man that’s beautiful.

Thank you. I have a pair and love them but IMHO that’s too much for 3.2s. I hope someone can enjoy them though. They are truly under rated.
-
Aren’t those KG3.2s under rated? Hands down my favorite “small” Klipsch to listen to. Good luck in your search.

+1 on the Vintage HK 630-930. Sounds so rich warm and luscious with Fortes.
I’d not rule out an refurbished Dynaco ST SS Amp. Recently paired with Fortes and sounds amazing!
Good luck with whatever you choose 👍🏻👍🏻

Good luck! Those Lascalas look beautiful! So difficult to find gear in SLC, or harder than it should be 🤔

Fwiw.
I have the 3.5s and 5.5s. 3.5s are a good speaker for most listening. 5.5s excel at loud listening.
I would get the Chorus unless their size and or cost is an issue. Having said that I’d keep the 3.5s if possible. But if I had to choose between the 3, the Chorus 👍🏻

Recently had the opportunity to pick up a nice HK930 with wood case and matched it to Fortes. I am very impressed. Sounds so nice together.

What a remarkable job. They look fantastic. Can I put my order in? 😁
-
Nice score! These are actually pretty nice sounding little speakers. Good luck with your repairs. 👍

I’m going to check out Deep House Radio today! Thanks

FWIW, I love your motivation! Someone will be very happy thanks to you 👍

That’s a very under rated pair of speakers you have there. I have a pair and absolutely love them. If you weren’t so far away I’d snag them.
GLWYS!

Hey there. Man that’s a great deal. I’m going to look into them. Thank you

Hey everyone!
So I am seeking a pair of Klipsch Kg 3.2s, in nice shape. I don’t know what it is about this particular speaker, but to my old ears, they really, really sound nice. And as such I’d like to start building a small yet robust system for my Son.
Id also be very interested in a pair of Cornwall’s, locally, in good condition.
Im in Salt Lake City 84120 for shipping purposes.
Thanks!

Hi,
If you ever get to the point where you’d consider shipping, please let me know.

Camouflage by hiding in plain sight! I have used this method of concealment successfully myself many times lol
