Happy Monday guys. Have a couple appointments today but nothing exciting. Would like to extend the holidays through January. (Start a petition drive??) Best I can do is persuade Better Half Unit to leave decorations up till next weekend.
The rest of yesterday was good after hospital visits .... watched the Broncos

Bigger is never bad!! Adding a sub is a move you will not regret ... and the deeper it will go, the better. Finally, get the best receiver you can afford, but know what you are paying for. I will always pay for a cleaner signal but not for bells and whistles i don't need or won't use. Sound quality is the deal.

Afternoon all. Different sort of a day ... visited 2 friends in 2 different hospitals. It's good to do stuff like that but ya hate to see people hurting. On the other hand, we're home now and we did what we could. Prayers for our friends.
MKP ... sorry about your mom. Mine went through the same thing a few years ago. You're doing what you can.

Just got on from the DC road trip....picked up my new KLF-C7..... Looks nice for the money
MKP ... I think you're gonna like that speaker as long as you have a good sonic match with the rest of the speakers. We have an all-KLF home theater including the C7 and it has been great. And ... that was a very good price based on what I've seen. Enjoy.

Hey gang ..looks like everyone had a reasonably safe New Year's .... ours was spent serving up food for some folks and beating the rush by getting home early ...old people are like that. Had all the excitement (and then some) I could take back in the olden days. Doing a dinner and movie night for some friends this evening on the HT.

Happy NY's Eve to the C&C gang. Been a little under the weather the past few days so I haven't been around. Please consider this a big 'ol "like" for all the stuff I would have liked if I had actually been around to like it. (Huh??)
Not a lot on tap for this evening. Gonna show up and help serve dinner for a non-profit I do some work for during the year. After that it's home and a movie or some tunes.

Chuck, that is so unfair when we are facing the frozen tundra. On the other hand, ski conditions in Colorado are fabulous if you wanna take a little trip with Jake.

Same here ... I've got the 30's in a HT system, but the 20's are very close in specs and have a great reputation. I have the 10's as rear speakers and they are very good too. Would not hesitate to buy a pair of 20's if in good shape for a reasonable price.

The 20's make a fine HT speaker and the C7 is a very good (and sonically matched) center. Just add 2 more KLF speakers and a sub for a nice system.

Mornin gang. Looking for a laid back day today ... really cold around these parts ... single digits so far. Got a fun project going restoring an old Singer Sewing Machine cabinet that belonged to my grandmother. Been moving it from place to place for years and held on to it for nostalgic reasons. Need to make it pretty and presentable again.I found an instruction manual in the inside part which is dated 1929. Definitely deserves a new life.

Happy post-Christmas Day all. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did. Nothing like a 2 year old grandkid to make it a real kick. Got to skype with the kids in Germany. We should have them back in the USA next year (actually in the spring). Kept stuff like Manheim Steamroller going on the Cornwalls.

Got a bunch of running around today to get ready for the holiday and the mob we'll have at the house on Friday. Gonna try to get back to playing (or at least listening) to some music later in the day. Never know when someone with questionable music skills/taste will ask me to play. Need to be ready.

The crack weather forecasters here keep whining about probably not having a white Christmas. Apparently they live in caves and haven't looked at all the ice and snow stuff on the cave lawn lately.
Has anyone seen the movie Ted 2? We watched it last night .... it's crude, immature and really funny. Right up my alley.

Stupid computer posted the previous post when my palm hit the 'enter' key I guess .... was trying to say we watched the Broncos win over SD and a movie on HT. That's all the excitement this old fart needed for one day.
