  1. True as the subtleties of Tannerite are better witnessed than discussed.
  2. It is also nice to see droll humor is also successful here 🤣
  3. Buy the 20 pack of 1/2 pounders then. You do know the main goal is entertainment right?
  4. Looks like a home build. Construction inside the mid horn bin is not Klipsch and the mid horn driver and crossovers are not either as far as I can tell with the grainy picture. Basic box looks good though so the right components will give you a great speaker. No telling what your woofer will be. I have had K-43's and K-33's, generic Eminence (more than one type) and speakers marked "Taiwan" for the brand name and model number.
  5. They might be but that does not stop the satisfaction of giving them a hard time in a most entertaining way.
  6. Wondering what it would do for fire ant mounds too?
  7. Alexa and Amazon are cool. Turn those on and leave them on and share your household with Amazon techs and hackers 24/7. Way cool. Beyond way cool.
  8. Yep just another day with questions about how does one entertain himself here in the land of the free down in southern middle Tennessee. So I get my neighbor and we go to his gun range and shoot a 1 pound jar of Tannerite. Woke the whole valley up with people stopping in to see what happened. Had no idea how loud it would be and the result was tons of fun for red blooded American gun owners in the valley. Next up is getting the grand kids down here for a little fun and excitement soon. Nothing like guns and things that go boom to leave an indelible memory in your grand kids minds and it will be fun. 100% effective cure for soy products 🤣
  9. The narcissism of the selfies fakebook people is beyond belief sometimes. How many times does the same face have to be inserted into the topic at hand anyway. I have wondered about the market place since I hear they talk about my tweeters there at times. I just have not been able to bring myself to go there though.
  10. Yes there are a lot of people over the top. My brothers wife insists when they eat out that no one start eating until eveyone is served so she can send a picture of the meals to fakebook. Getting into the spirit of dumb things people like to do I have pondered taking pictures of the wipe after dumping a bomb in the terlit and posting them next to the pristine meal pictures. Problem is I don't have a fakebook account. I am thinking lots of green koolaid first or maybe beets just to spice it all up and be original. For mexican meals perhaps a short clip of burning the methane off to accompany the colorful display of used paper.
  11. Vector file implies CNC wood router not printing a poster.
  12. Yes, music for the whole valley. SO do you feel guilty yet about making me spend my money???
  13. Well my wife keeps telling me I need to turn the bass up and come in the house and feel the beat. Now you know how women misrepresent things like that but all kidding aside it is awesome. My purpose in hearing those big pipe organs has been accomplished. It is surprising how much bass I had been missing and the combination of Audacity and a horn capable of playing lower notes has been eminently satisfying. I had a pair of EV-TL440's which were good to 20hz. They were very fatiguing and in short order somewhat painful, These S-MWM's of course don't go as low but man are they fun. I find myself looking for firework and lightning and helicopter audio and the clear sound and thump is amazing. I went by Cory's a while back and he demoed his Jubes with an x-box and Star wars game. The thump of explosions was pretty darned good and the sound effects great. But they were like you were in the general area of the action and these S-MWM's put the booms two feet away. You know you are invited to stop in if you are ever up here. I have a poor listening environment and I wonder what they would be like in a good one. Some day I am going to roll them to the big door in my shop, point them out and let them rip.
  14. The decision process here was that I wanted to maintain expansion so that if I drew a circle where the 9.25" dimension from plenum end to back side there would be no reduction in volume. The splitter could have been larger but I was not given or able to find info on what size was right so I guessed.
  15. For what it is worth the decision for a splitter was based on the idea something is better than nothing. Borrowed from the La Scala design as the stock MWM bins have nothing back there. So what would be a full reflector? Reasonably so but remember my help has been remote so those with experience have not been here to see. Yes to consistent which is a good sign.
  16. As far as I know that is correct. He also has had more than one variation of phase plug for the 1132 and the latest is a clear improvement over older ones.
  17. Coytee did Klipsch ever offer the Jubilee as a two way with the 1132 driver? For some reason I have though they did though I can't find any supporting documents for that thought. 380hz for the 1133 driver? You thinking the 1132 will do the same?
  18. There is a splitter in the center back but no reflectors in the back outside corners.
  19. Claude what do you think would be a better woofer in this application?
  20. It's all new to me so I have to figure out what is the best practice for my specific setup.
  21. I will work on doing this later today and thanks in advance for the help.
  22. 390hz seems to be as low as the 402 crosses over on any current cinema speaker. What I have been told is the lower you can make the 402 work before you hand it off to the bass end of things the better off you are. I am thinking 400hz is OK for this driver but maybe not any lower. Another thing I am thinking of is this Eminence Kappa-15C has a good reputation as a replacement for the K-33 which should work just fine where the k-43 does since they work interchangeably in LS's.
  23. I have a question in to Roy to see what the lowest safe crossover point for the 1132 is. I can't find any definitive answer for lowest crossover point on these and if someone knows I would appreciate finding out.
  24. I am going to bump the LF up to 500hz and see how that does.
