That's a very good recommendation, and I think it has a great mono sound. I feel that the music I listen to most (outside of the early Beatles tunes) sounds best in stereo though. Would be best in the hands of someone who truly appreciated it.

Thank you to both of you for your help. I'll post photos within the next few weeks, when I can get back to the storage unit. It looks similar to your SPR-15, except it has a mesh across the entire face, has a true 90 degree angle where it meets the corner (yours looks a little more obtuse than 90?), and I believe my grandfather painted it turquoise (which I imagine will affect the value). When my grandfather showed it to me and played music for me on it ~15 years ago, he said it was all original components. Crazy that this was a $230 speaker in 1958! That has to be around $2k today with inflation.

I inherited a 1958 Klipsch Shorthorn, corner speaker, and amplifier and sound system from my Grandfather when he passed away. It's currently in storage in Richmond, VA. I'm looking to sell this item and cut down on the amount of items I'm storing. I only took a picture of the serial number, so that I could do some research online, but if there's some real interest in this item, I'll go into storage and take pictures of everything. I have no idea what the going rate for an item like this is, so any additional perspective on what I should be asking for would be much appreciated. Thank you!
