    Jokes?

    The Boss

I like you’re thinking. I agree with all you mentioned, and have publicly declared, as often as possible, my dislike for the Beatles. Talent-yes. Overrated? For my tastes and auditory system, I would have to say “yes”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I was a prep, but finished as a total stoner. I also took dance lessons, art classes and volunteered for the elderly. Waaaay back when I was in HS, we had a smoking area for students.(parental permission required) usually I only hung around there with the other stoners long enough to see who wanted to skip for the day. Crank up some Ozzy, Aerosmith... waste a day. Good times.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    The Boss

I’ve been in a rather snarky mood! I don’t have anyone to spar with lately. Those comments in my brain have to find an escape periodically. The Boss...blood in the water. Did anyone mention...dare I speak...Tom Petty? Very talented to be sure, but that voice.... I should return to my quiet place now.

    The Boss

I don’t speak up here often. It’s better to sit quietly and appear stupid, then to open your mouth and prove it. However I can just not resist jumping on the boss bandwagon. Definitely needs singing lessons, and some talent. He could pick up Brian Johnson on the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It lightens my soul to hear that two of my favorite people are doing so well! Meeting you at pilgrimage the last few years has been a joy and you’re truly genuine, good people. I wish you all the best, sending prayers and good vibes... See you the next time! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Jokes?

2 young women, were having coffee after a long night of partying, discussing the nights events . The brunette says "i must have drank a lot. I'm usually kinda shy, but last night I did a Brazilian." Her blonde friend was shocked, and said "THATS A LOT!"

    Jokes?

I usually lurk, rarely post , but on seeing a divorce joke I just had to.... Why is divorce so expensive? Because it's worth it. A man rushing into the courthouse stops and asks an officer "where's divorce court?" He immediately replied "next to heaven."
  10. I'm a metal girl to the bone....but there are so many other genres I love random aspects of. Industrial is my first love.....NIN, Ministry...good stuff cranked up, rattling the windows. But I also love some bluesy stuff recently, such as Kaleo.
  11. Very very cool! I'm sure Rodney will be pleased with those. Looking forward to seeing them posted around Rodney's place. Thank you from myself and Otis for all that you have done for our wonderful and gracious host.
  12. A little late, but still..... Happy Birthday Mike! I hope you had a wonderful day filled with whatever you wanted to do with it. Life is too short, and too busy to not enjoy the passing of each year by celebrating somehow! Taurus huh.... I should have known....
  13. Ma Me too Brie... Weren't they posting song lyrics????? You take a mortal man And put him in control Watch him become a god Watch people's heads a'roll A'roll, a' roll Just like the Pied Piper Led rats through the streets We dance like marionette oh! a squirrel.......
  14. I don't get Jeff Beck either. I file him under the "I can appreciate his talent and respect what he did....,but.... I don't like it, and would never intentionally play it"- heading. That being said, I'm sure that we all have favorites that others don't appreciate as much as we do, or they downright hate it. I for instance, really don't like The Who or The Beatles. But, "I can appreciate his talent and respect what he did....,but...". No amount of exposure or accolades would make a difference. I like what I like, and I know what I like when I hear it. The best I can do is to not be intolerant of others preferences, and to not expect everyone to appreciate the same music I do. It sure is awesome when I find someone who does though.
  15. Thanks for the write up Chad! We had a wonderful time! The best thing for me is seeing my cousin Otis in his element. You all speak a language I'm still trying to learn; but, I know what sounds good when I hear it. I also know good people. Those we met at this gathering and last year are diverse to say the least. We are good, open, giving people connected by this insane love of quality sound, created specifically by Klipsch. I have to say, I have never felt so welcomed as in this group, really felt like family. Rodney's hospitality was beyond measure, and its hard to believe these people exist. Otis and I were overwhelmed. We are still reeling from the experience and have formed many Klipsch friendships that could last a lifetime. By the way, meeting you was also very cool and we are hoping you will be back next year. I know we will, and any other time we can all get together.
  16. Happy Birthday!!!! Hope it was wonderful. You don't look a day over 21! (choke, gag) No, really I mean that.
  17. Wow! I'm overwhelmed! Thank you so much for the kind words and somewhat clever puns. That really made my day. I wish I would have seen it sooner. I'm still working my way around here.
  18. Brie!!!! Good to have you here! I had a blast hanging out with you last weekend and I hope to do it again, soon! Don't worry, I'm also an Uber N00b. Last year, I brought my cousin, Otis, to the gathering because it had always been a dream of his....i Knew nothing, know just slightly more this year. These guys are wonderful, I've never felt like I had on the dunce cap. Otis has had his K- horns over 30 years and owns at least 1 set of every Heritage type except the Belles, so hes a fountain of information too. Welcome!
  19. You were snarky? To me?????? Say it ain't so Mr. Lobo, say it ain't so... Erica, Hope Pat and yourself got to enjoy Kimberly as much as she enjoyed you! Roger She's a hoot! I can see the two of us getting into some trouble.....planning to hang out with her again!! I will definitely come next year, just hope she doesn't grow out of being a Daddys girl and wants to come with me again. She is at that age you know?? Roger She is a wonderful girl....hold on tight daddy, time goes fast at this point. My last left just 2 months ago. I'm proud to see her flying solo, but a little sad ( ok, maybe more than a little) that it all happened so quickly. I she makes it next year...truly, a cool kid. Good job- you get at least some credit for that!

    A good start!

Thanks Carl! The flag belongs to Otis of course...... I'm still just a baby to all of this amazing stuff, but i'm crazy happy with it already. The additional height off the floor is wonderful.

    My first set up

Its primitive, but absolutely perfect. Completely portable too. It's a work in progress, and will likely always be improved upon. You have to know, 2 years ago my "system" was my iPhone in a bowl. Seriously. Many, many thanks to Otis for everything!
