  1. Ok, now that makes sense. Maybe there's not a setting for all channel stereo, I don't know as I don't own this product. That would be a legitimate complaint if you were expecting the bar to function this way, but there is no setting offered to make it operate this way. Sorry if I came off as rude, that was not my intention.
  2. I really believe you are wanting your system to do something it's not meant to do. The majority of the time the surround speakers will play nothing, and this is normal. When there is no content sent to them they will be silent or close to it. Unless you're listening in all channel stereo or another similar setting
  3. I bought that exact receiver a few months ago just as a cheap option to get by with until I found a better avr. But I am so impressed with its performance I haven't looked for a better replacement. I am confident It will be a fine combo.
  4. Most fuses say 250 volt on them if you look, even the ones we sell for automotive
  5. Eldon how do you hook up a car head unit at home? Some kind of 12 volt power supply? Maybe I'm missing something or not thinking
  6. In high school I drove a bright yellow 68 Camaro pioneer deck and pioneer 3 way 6 by 9s. Man I wish I still had that car
  7. As far as the sound goes, a few years ago in Hope they were demoed in the same room as khorns and rf7s. I preferred khorns over them, so did my wife. They did sound better than the rf7s. Wonderful midrange, voices really lifelike but khorns better overall
  8. I use some Klipsch speakers at work, don't know the model sorry. I think they came from an older 5.1 setup similar to quintet's. Anyway one of them was missing the nut for the binding post when I got them. I work at an auto parts store so I found that the nut from either a 3 16ths or quarter inch compression fitting worked perfectly, threaded right on. Can't remember which size but it's one of those 2.
  9. Da dual action sander. For long flat surfaces you could also use an idiot stick. No I'm not making that up lol

    Tug of War

Full torque from zero rpm being the main advantage as well as very low and substantial center of gravity
  11. My wife got me an 86 inch lg 4k smart TV for my birthday this week. Barely over 2k. Love it!
  12. Seems like cable TV coax is the number one culprit for these problems
  13. Whatever it costs it's worth it to me not to have to worry about it being delayed when I want to watch or listen to something
  14. This is a ridiculous argument. It's like asking someone if they'd rather have a solid piece of wood cut from a tree or a bunch of wood giblets glued together and them answering "give me the wood giblets please, as I feel they are superior" Who would do that?
  15. 2 sub12s an rw12d and a jtr captivator 2400 all this way currently
  16. Why not? I have subs that have been configured this way for over 4 years with no problems
  17. Set it to be on all the time, not auto on
  18. I agree this last post seems like the best option. Thank you. The only pictures I have of my current front end are on my phone and I cannot figure out how to post them on here. Nothing special though birch raw lascalas with cane grills, black rc7, rear projection 82 inch Mitsubishi that's going away and 2 towers that my wife refinished in black to hold components on each side. A thrift store find for 25 bucks lol. painted a 1 by 12 black and placed across the top of those to hold the rc7. Worked well but wanted to try the center lower. Thanks guys
  19. Yeah I might wall mount it. Just makes me kinda nervous
  20. Currently have it above my TV, but changing to an 86 inch and would like to try it below the TV. The stands I'm seeing don't seem to have enough height between the shelves. Need minimum of 9 inches. 10 would be better. Any suggestions?
