I've tried them with Khorn bass bins. TheJBL bass bins more forwards and faster, but I also love how they sound with Khorn bass bins. I run them as 2 ways with Ashley Protea 4.8SP (it will be for sale once the Oris are sold).

I've got a pair of factory-built, tube-rectified Welborne 45s with factory packing and manuals. Input & rectifier tubes are stock and very strong Cunningham Radiotron 45 tubes. On my Klipschorns, the amps allow me to dial-out all hum with the hum pots. Shipping will be in two large boxes. Asking $1600 shipped lower 48. PayPal adds 3% unless Personal option used.

These are 1972 walnut cabinets, type K.B.WO. Consecutive serial numbers 4K030 & 4K031. The original horns & drivers were completely updated sometime in the late 1980's or early 1990's by the prior owner with later Klipschorn, drivers and Crites woofers (the components are AK-2, K-400, K-55M, K77 and Crites 1526C). In other words, these Klipschorns are essentially 1972 cabinets with later components inside. See photos. Price for Klipsch Community member is $2000, local pickup in Boston Metro-west only.
