  2. Was it the 901 series IV or V that came new out of the box with the rotting foam surrounds????
  3. Now there's the real problem. Trying to pretend Klipsch-less families are "normal". "Klipsch-less" Now that's funny lol lol
  4. That's a long drive Steve, I am closer. I should just close the shop tomorrow and tell the wife we are taking a road trip lol :-)
  5. Hey Kent T back at ya, welcome. Only been here couple weeks. I have been a Klipsch fan since the mid 80s'. Lots of cool Klipsch peeps here, lots of knowledge here. Yes it is an addiction!!

  7. My boss(wife) found our LaScalas' in the paper 25 years ago. When I find new audio equipment she will come with me to check it out. Like I have said she is a good wife :-)
  8. I have been a mechanic for 30+ years. Started out in aviation, helicopters. I was draging my *** with my FAA license, so I got canned! Yea I was young. Found a job at a Honda dealership and stayed with Honda for the last 26+ years. I own my own shop, 90% of my work is Honda/Acura. It is just me and my wife. I have no other mechanics that work for me. I also have a kick *** tunes at the shop -Carver TFM 42 drives my Klipsch KP 360s' and two subs. www.millcreekmotorworks.com That's me :-)
  9. When I want to get the house "JUMPING" I will power up my LaScalas' with my Adcom 555II and the ChorusII with two Carver 400t cubes in mono. Yea I like watts!
  10. Yes, I think they will make a great 2 channel set up. I know mine do!! :-)
  11. I love the Carver amps with my Klipsch. You can buy a lot of Carver for 1/2 of the $2000 grand. Just a thought.... Good luck Mark...
  12. Hi, sorry about your amp. Also welcome to forum. I am a newer member but have had many Klipsch speakers over the last 25 years or so. This is a great place for info. Now for my 2 cents. I love the Chorus speaker. I have both 1s and 2s. Most of my amps are of the Carver line-up. I love the sound the carvers give these speakers. I don't know what type of music you listen to or the volume you like. But when it come to chest pounding bass and sonic impact the Carver TFM 55 will bring those Chorus II to life. I will also hook up my Carver 400t cube and enjoy the tunes. Anyway that's my 2 cents. Best of luck Mark....
  13. My friends these are not the Eliminators I speak of. My fault, they are the Eliminator i , not "one". Sorry I can seem to load a pick. But they have one 15" front firing woofer and one big horn above the woofer. It is a trapezoid cabinet. Thanks let me know what you think Mark...
  14. Hi Kent, I also am new to the forum but I have been a Klipsch fan for almost 30 years. I heard my first set of Chorus back in the 80s' powerd by a little Carver Cube! It blew me away!!! I have owend and still own most of the Heritage speakers. I love them all. My first set was my La Scalas' in the early 90s' and it was down hill from there. Best of luck, this forum is a very cool place. By the way those Chorus IIs' you have I call them CHEST pounders!! See ya Mark....
  15. Hi all, so does anybody know anything about the Eliminators by EV? These are the Eliminator Is' one 15" woofer and one big horn. I am looking at a set, seems like a good deal. Looks like they will have that "BIG HORN" sound :-) Thanks Mark....
