  1. I own a B1. Its a nice little unit with good range. I mainly have it for friends/family that stop over and want to hook up their phone or tablet to play something. I think the sound quality is good, but not as good as using a Sonos, laptop or CD. I'm using the digital out on the B1 and letting my external DAC do the decoding, so I can't speak to how the built in DAC sounds.
  2. Lot's of nice feedback regarding the Palladiums. Looks like I need to get out and at least demo a pair. Thanks fellas.
  3. I have a few questions for the folks that have heard Palladiums, as I'm potentially considering picking up the 38's or 39's on this sale. I have never heard a pair though and won't typically buy speakers without extensive listening. 1. Taking cost out of the equation, how much better do you think the palladium lines is over say the RF-83's and/or RF 7II? 2. What is your gut feeling on Klipsch coming out with an updated Palladium line? I'd hate to buy, then they come out with something much improved or a lower price point with the same technology built in. 3. Do the Palladiums have as much bass as the RF-83's or RF 7II? On paper it does not appear so and I'm trying to figure out why Klipsch didn't offer more output down below given the price? Thx Guys..
  4. Most definitely will be replacing at some point, but I'm waiting until I figure out where I'll be living and what type of home. Trying to move somewhere warmer as I'm done with cold Chicago winters. FL is looking like an option depending on my work, I might be Youths neighbor soon.
  5. For sale Klipsch RF-83 Floor Standing Speakers & Klipsch RC-64 Center speaker. Located in the West Loop of Chicago, IL Willing to sell individually or separate, but prefer as a package. All speakers are in great condition. I would rate them 9/10. These speakers are the top of the line in the Reference IV series. The speakers have always been used in a non-smoking, pet free home and I’m the original owner. I have always run a NAD M25 amp on these speakers, so they have been properly powered. They sound fantastic, but I’m most likely moving cross country within the next year and need to free up space. Prefer local sale due to the size and weight of the speakers. I don’t have the original boxes or packaging. If you’re serious about potentially buying stop by with your favorite CD, DVD, laptop or portable player to demo the speakers. Pricing: (Retail was $2800): $1325 RF-83 Specs: http://www.klipsch.com/rf-83/details Pricing (Retail was $1200): $550 RC-64 specs: http://www.klipsch.com/rc-64/details * I’m willing to slightly negotiate on the pricing depending on whether buying separate or the complete package. John
  6. West Loop of Chicago here. I'd be interested in some future meets.
