Still for sale or is this closed? -
Seems like a good deal if the bids stay low... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-speakers-RF7-Cherry-Speakers-x2-RC64-Matching-Mid-Speaker-/321981804528?hash=item4af79c6ff0:g:c-gAAOSwLnlWnrVn

Does any happen to know the Thielle/Small parameters for the KW-120-THX subwoofer? I have one that is not in a box, so I am working to understand if the box needs a port or if an enclosed box will work OK. Thanks.

I am looking for a multi-region blu-ray player to replace my current Sony bdp s6200. I love the sound quality from tis model, but it is only set for Region A and I get a lot of region B videos as well. Also I have an issue with the system becoming non-responsive when playing internet content. The video continues to play, but you can't pause or stop or interact with the system. That aside, with the new player, what I really need to know is "are all blu-ray players made equally"? For instance, I notice some have native decoding for DTS, other for 2.0 sound, and other for 7.1. Do I need to be concerned about that or will the receiver take care of audio that the blu-ray player isn't decoding? If I can get similar sound that my Sony has now, that would be great as it is a wonderful box from that stand point. Thanks for the help as i am new to this part of the HT world, so I appreciate the support with such a junior question.

Is this the case for all of your sound from the PC or only when playing blu-rays?
-
I have this part taken care of. More so my question is will blu-ray players in PC's have the same quality (audio and video) as a stand-alone player? If the PC is connected to the receiver via HDMI 1.4, what limits are there on PC based blu-ray drives that make them not as good for playing purposes? I can't really find any good articles on-line that speak to this so I was hoping some forum members may have had experience with this. Thanks!

So I am in the process of adding to the HT. I need to put a Blu-Ray player in as the HDX quality from VUDU is just not the same (good, but not great). With that, I am trying to decipher the world of blu-ray and what my options are. So, if I put in a PC that has a blu-ray drive and HDMI out, is that just as good as putting in a stand alone player? Or is the stand alone player a better option? Why would you suggest one over the other? I am ok either way, I just want the best solution. I do have to put in a PC anyway, so this is what got me thinking down this path. Thank you in advance for the help and support! Much appreciated!!
