I got these as part of a partial trade for a pair of CF-4's. I already have a pair of KLF-20's I modified with baltic birch cabinets and re-capped crossovers. I'm keeping those, so these should be enjoyed by someone.

Black Satin wood veneer. Crites titanium tweeter diaphragms. When I acquired these, they were missing spikes. The inserts fit in the existing holes and the spikes are substantial. They come in other finishes besides black.

Are you in Michigan? If you aren't too far away from the Toledo, Ohio area, you are welcome to borrow one of my DIY TPA3116D2 amps to demo with your Omegas. Several Omega speaker owners are using them with good success.

I bought a pair of speakers from jweber. He is a great dude, straight shooter and very knowledgeable about all things Klipsch....and Polk. That "first memorable audiophile experience" of mine occurred in front of some SDA 1's and an Adcom 555. GLWS jweber!

Original Post has been edited after I was made aware of some goofs: 1. These are 5" ports. I took one out and measured it. 2. The person I got them from tells me the horns he sold me were gray. I guess the lighting could effect one's interpretation of that as the light strikes the speaker on the right, in the photo, it looks more gray than the left. They are the same when the light hits them equally. I can an assure everyone, the speakers have not been changed since I purchased them. I have a photo from the person I bought them from and they appear the same color to me as they do now. I might be mistaken in calling them black in my original post. 3. I misunderstood the person I purchased them from, the person he bought them from was not the original owner. There was no intent to misrepresent, just errors on my part.

SOLD. SOLD. I bought these from fellow forum member. They have 5" ports. The consecutive serial numbers reflect a 1994 build date. I probably wouldn't recommend these if you are looking for something pristine or with few flaws. If you care greatly about cosmetics, these are not for you. They do have cosmetic issues all over. The worst veneer flaws being the stains on the top of one speaker. Spikes are not included. I had intended to order some from Klipsch, but will let the next owner take care of that. The grill screens are decent. A few snags here and there, but not horrible. With all that said, they function perfectly and have no operational issues. The cherry veneer is striking and the cabinets are solid. They sound as they should. I would prefer pick-up so you can inspect them and listen to them prior to purchase. I'm near Toledo, Ohio. Asking SOLD *** I edited this post. The ports are 5". I must have misunderstood the person I bought them from as he claims he never told me he bought them from the original owner. I edited that part of the post. Therefore I'm unsure how many previous owners these have had. I have not done a thing to the speakers, other than use some Howard's on them since receiving them from the previous owner.

Version one or two preferred. I'm in the Toledo, Ohio area and willing to travel as far as Chicago, Indy, Cinci, Philly areas. Aesthetics not as important as the drivers all functioning as they should.

Your original ad did not mention they were original cd's. It lists, CD's with "no artwork and no jewel cases." "CD artwork" is typically referring to the artwork on the CD disc itself. After your clarification, I see now you probably meant no insert or booklet, as they are commonly referred to. Selling CD's with no artwork, no jewel cases and in 3 ring binder sleeves (likely no inserts either?) lead me to believe they are blank CD-R's as I'm not aware of many commercially sold CD's with "no artwork". There was obviously need for clarification as the moderator asked you to clarify, which you then did. Glad you clarified and glad you got them sold quick. My apologies for offending you.

I can't imagine I'm the only one cringing right now when reading this ad? Sharing copyrighted music with friends and back ups for personal use is one thing, but selling copies of originals on a public forum, for personal gain? (a spindle of 500 CD's is about $100) Maybe I'm being too compassionate towards those people who make their living writing, recording, marketing and selling their art form?

$700 if the front and back panels don't rattle and I didn't have to drive too far to snag them. I like to use a frequency sweep when testing for the dreaded KLF cabinet rattle.

The speakers sold on Audiogon today. Thanks for all the nice comments. It was a fun project.

Thanks for asking...the meniscus repair went well. Surgery was December 11th and I ran my first mile yesterday. Hope you're still enjoying the Khorns!

THESE HAVE BEEN SOLD. THANKS FOR LOOKING. Fellow member JimJimbo helped me score a pair of KLF-30's and KLF-20's from the same seller in his neck of the woods a while back. The KLF-20's had terribly rough cabinets, complete with a crushed top corner. I took the opportunity to combine my love of DIY speaker building with my love of the KLF series. The cabinets are void free Baltic Birch and built with the exact same internal dimensions as the stock cabinets. The stock front and back panels were used & contrast nicely with the birch. Some additional bracing was done, but not much since the panels are so stiff compared to the stock MDF. Tried & True oil varnish gives them a warm tone. I hand selected the plywood at my supplier based on the vivid grain. Crites titanium tweeters. Dayton Audio 1% precision caps replaced the stock in the crossovers. One woofer had to be replaced due to a rubbing voice coil. The grill screens are probably 7/8 out of 10, but one is missing a peg. I will include spikes, but they are not mounted. There are other worthwhile modifications that can be done to the ports, but I'll leave that up to the next owner to experiment with. I'm not willing to ship these. I will consider an hour or so drive to help in meeting halfway. I live near Toledo, Ohio. $850 is my asking price.
