Cornwall oak oil, made in 1985

I'm just trying to stop the first point of reflection for the higher frequencies since one of my speakers is near a wall. I I'll try putting 2 panels behind my seating position to see if that helps at all. I've never messed with acoustic treatments before.

I've seen that on KG4 woofers in the past. I usually start with using a little cleaning spray on a paper towel, then use Amorall cleaning wipes to get them back to black. If you can't get them black yet, you can lightly use a magic eraser. After it's black, I use Amorall protectant wipes.

I want to make a couple of DIY acoustic panels. I have some canvas pictures that I'm planning on building up the frame to make it 2 inches deep. I really don't want to use fiberglass insulating as these will be in the room with us. I've heard using moving blankets or towels. Any suggestions? Thanks

The only reason why I used Tapatalk was it's ability to resize picture files when I uploaded to the forum. Since I do most reacting/posting from my phone, resizing pictures just to upload is a pain.

You can see the picture @jjptkd posted. That is my speaker. I designed and 3D printed some brackets to have the forte III horn fit in the chorus II. Since the horn has the driver screw into it, I was able to use the A55G drivers in these. I checked with Bob Crites beforehand to make sure it was safe to do so. It sounds great. I got lucky and ordered the horns before Klipsch required serial numbers to order parts.

In case anyone was wondering, the forte 3 midrange horns have the screw on driver connector on the back. I'm using the original A55G midrange drivers in the forte III horns in my Chorus II speakers.

I'm a little late to this. In my opinion, the forte 2 sounds better than the chorus 1. The price for the chorus 1 is way over priced. In my opinion, if you could get either pair for the same fair price, I would get the forte 2. I've had both at the same time and did some A+B comparisons, the midrange in the forte 2 and chorus 2 were much nicer than the chorus 1.

I don't know anything about your amp, but just want to make sure that you are aware of the fact that the Jubilees need to be biamped. Your integrated looks like it has preouts to go to an amp and main inputs to power the internal amp. This would allow you to use the integrated for either the bass bins or your tweeters, but you would need a separate amp to drive the other drivers. Good luck

In my experience, vintage Klipsch heritage speakers (pre 1985 ish) do not do well in home theater. I have experienced this with belles ('79) and khorns ('77). Klipsch speakers in the late 1980s and newer work well. Vintage heritage sound great on a true 2 channel setup. Many people will disagree with this, but I've experienced this several times in my house. I suspect the issue is within the preamp section of the receiver, not the amp, but I don't truly know. There was a forum member a couple of years ago who bought khorns and brought them home and he had no bass like when he demoed them before purchase. It turned out he was using a home theater receiver to drive them. I suggested he borrow or find a cheap stereo receiver to test it out. He went and bought a very nice brand new stereo setup and was blown away by the bass and dynamics out of the khorns that he didn't have before. YMMV

I got them from Cory. He had a customer buy them, then trade them in because they had to downsize their house and these wouldn't fit. If you watched Paducah Home Theater's YouTube video comparing the Underground Jubilees vs the Heritage Jubilees, my Jubilees are the ones in the video.

I finally got my Underground Jubilees! Everything is horribly set up right now including placement and wiring.

I believe Valerie signed most of them and PWK signed a bunch of the early ones, but the later ones were just a ink stamp.
