Switch the center channel speaker with either your left or right main speaker and see if it follows the speaker or stays within the output channel of the receiver. This won't fix anything, but it will get you closer to finding the issue.
For your consideration is a Klipsch RC7 center channel speaker in maple finish. This speaker sounds great. The grill is in good condition with the exception of the missing badge logo. $150 to a forum member
For your consideration is a pair of Klipsch KG3.2 speakers in black. These speakers are in good condition with some scratches on the cabinets. The grills are in great shape. The speakers play even better than they look. Sold elsewhere

I acquired these crossovers in a set of custom built speakers. The builder modified the crossovers to allow for biamping and biwiring. He also modified the connections to the autotransformer taps to be adjustable. I am offering these cheap since they are so modified. $100 plus shipping.

I don't have any shipping containers for these. If you want to arrange shipping for the speakers, I would gladly work with the shipping company of your choice.
These woofers came out of a pair of heresies. The woofers were discolored so I sprayed them black with a fabric dye to look nice. These were removed for a Super Heresy project. Both woofers ohm out at about 7.3 ohms. I'm in Massachusetts. Prefer local pickup, but can try to work with a buyer for shipping. I'm asking $150 for the pair.
