  1. I realize this is a 2 channel thread but if you like this album, my guess is you would really like the DVD-A of Welcome to my Nightmare, and I like slightly better, Billion Dollar Babies. Both multichannel versions sound crisp and the low end on I love the dead, really thumps on our HT below. I do have that dvd-a and it's awesome. I love how you can distinctly hear the individual kids voices in the surround speakers during "department of youth". I need to check out billion dollar babiesSent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/112037538862 These need a lot of work. @@Matthews?
  3. I bought brand new crossovers from Bob Crites for my belles. They sound amazing, plus I was able to sell the original crossovers on eBay to make some of the money back.
  4. I like to use Alice Cooper's "welcome to my nightmare" album. It has some decent bass and some horn instruments which broadcast very well with my belles.

  7. I'm on a $250 budget, obviously going to try to break it, maybe $300-350 ish (avr needs to be included). I think kg .5s are the biggest I can go, grrr.
  8. That's an awesome idea, I never thought of that. Thanks Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  9. So question, when you guys use tone generators with computers hooked up to the avr, how do you hook it up? I'm using a laptop, hooked up via 3.5mm to composite cable, and that gets me poor results. The "40hz" comes out of my fronts even though I'm crossing over at 80hz. Should I be trying to hook this up via HDMI or do I need a special DAC to test properly? Thanks
  10. I believe it's a smaller apartment. I was thinking I could sell her my old harman kardon avr-247. I don't know anything about the quintets. I figured based on size, they would be tinny sounding, that's why I was thinking the kg's. Have you ever heard the quintets?
  11. This I'd for a friend that was interested in getting into surround sound. She moves in an apartment, so I need to keep it small. Not sure on avr yet, but I was thinking kg 1.5s for fronts Kv-2 for center Kg .5s for rears Thoughts?
  12. My buddy is picking these up today. He already has a replacement driver sitting on his shelf, so this was a no brainer. Thanks for the alert.
  13. How did you find these? I've looked, but couldn't find anything
  14. Windows+L is a fun keyboard shortcut Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  15. When someone has real interest, I will get a quote for them
  16. I love keyboard shortcuts, alt f4 closes your current screen
  17. I do not know what shipping would be, I should be willing to guess $20-30 ish
  18. Like the title says, free klipsch hs2 outdoor speakers, just pay shipping. I bought these on eBay, and they showed up with problems. I got my money back and the seller didn't want to pay to ship them back. I'm thinking there is a problem with the crossovers. The highs were nearly non-existent. One had decent mid-range, the other sounded muddy. If someone wants to try to fix these, have at it. First come first serve.
