  1. Just a quick update .... everything is sold except the RB-5's thanks for all the comments --- Hopefully we can these sold too!!!!
  2. Thank you everyone for your kind words and comments. Im going to leave them together as a set for few more days before I consider breaking them up and offering the pieces individually. Hopefully we can find a new home for this great set.
  3. Ok I gave it a week to see if anyone was interested in the speakers as a complete set ---but no takers ! There was some interest if I was going to be parting these out ... so that time has come. Lets get these sold! Greetings from Southern NH ( about 45 minutes north of Boston) I am offering for sale a complete Klipsch Reference series . I have teased this complete system of surround speakers for some time but they are now officially for sale. This includes a pair of RB-5II's, a RC- 7, 2 RSW- 15's , a pair of RS-7's and a pair of RF-7's. Everything is finished in cherry except the RS- 7, these are black. All original boxes, inserts, packaging and extra pegs/pins of the covers. These speakers were purchased by my father brand new, with the hopes of creating a beautiful home theater. Without boring you with all of the family details- that never happened. My dad toyed with idea of having me sell them a couple of times but he could never pull the trigger on the letting them go. Well my dad is gone now, the home theater never came to be and I don't have room for these works of art. The only speakers to ever be used ( sparingly) were the RB-5 II. One of the RB-5's has a broken cover peg. All of the other speakers are like brand new an don't appear to ever be out box for anything other than inspection. No broken pegs, scratches or water marks on any of the wood. As was suggested to me some time ago by a member here, I powered up the rsw's, though I didn't have a music source, I could hear them power up and down however. RSW-15..... 800.00 each----- both SOLD RF-7 ..... 1000.00 for the pair----- SOLD RC- 7 .....300.00 ---- SOLD RS-7 .... 400.00 for the pair -----SOLD RB-5 II .....375.00 for the pair OBO on any of these I had originally stated all were finished in cherry, I was mistaken - the RS-7's are in black and I corrected the above description. Here is a link for google drive for the 59 pictures.....https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B9h6Pzvcy-nRWVdoTGFIU3FzQlU?usp=sharing
  4. Hi everyone, I appreciate all the feedback I received last yr after originally posting this. Unfortunately at the time, my dad wasn't willing to unbox everything last year. There has been a change of heart and I wanted to move this back to the top. In the coming days I will be posting pictures of all of the speakers. They will be available in the Boston area so let me know if there is any interest.
  5. Thanks to all for the quick info and opinions! For the purposes of selling I'd say I'm in the Boston Area ( 45 miles away) . Being a forum newbie too, should I firm up my asking price and move this whole string over to the "Garage Sale" or leave it here ?? Thanks again
  6. Hello Everyone, Im trying to help my elderly father liquidate some of his audio equipment. Im not an audiophile and I have no idea about Klipsch value. All of this equipment was purchased from an authorized dealer during the Fall of 01 through the Spring of 02. My father had visions of creating a house shaking home theater set up some time ago, but it only remained a dream. All of the pieces are still in original packaging ( boxes and foam inserts and everything) as well as all the receipts. Only the towers have ever been taken out of the box and plugged in ( less than 15 minutes of play). The best way I would describe these pieces is that if they were car parts they would be NOS - new old stock. Here is what we have: a pair of RF- 7 RC-7 a pair of RSW-15 a pair of RS-7 a pair of RB -5 All pieces are cherry in color except for the RB-5, which are black. I realize these are 12 -13 yr old speakers and though never used would never command "new" pricing, but I was hoping all of the Klipsch experts on the forum could help me price these correctly in hopes of getting them sold . We are in Southern NH and less than an hour from Boston. Thanks in Advance!!!
