  1. I am a genre omnivore. Just curious to see if the mains I have could even come close. My best guess would be the PF-39's as a comparison to the OIII. That's why I am seeking out you wise gentleman.
  2. Would they be compared to K-horns or Palladium's sound wise?
  3. Rear Recommendations........hmmm......not TOO big not TOO small.
  4. ^ great opening scene. LFE was great
  5. Thanks guys. I'll probably just grab another PC ultra. (even though it's made in CHINA.. Tom liked to point out....)
  6. 24x20 Room. Looking to round out the bass and more of a tactile feel.
  7. Spoke with tom and he thinks (obviously) that his PSA's will best dual PC13's. I can sell my PC13 and go dual 3000i's or I can buy another PC13 . Any thoughts?
  8. I have the redmere HDMI's. I like them. I would be scared to put them in wall however.
  9. LOL, I hope you know my post was in jest.....considering some of the previous threads... Plus, look at my sig
  10. It doesn't hurt, plus they are available . Kudo's to you for using them!
  11. Dude, If you don't know by now, a $500 AVR will bring out the best in your RF7's.........
  12. That's a little odd your ref is -2. I guess every pre amp is different. My ref is at -15 master volume.
  13. Go back and read your original post--I was only responding in kind. I have no hard feelings and will continue to post my thoughts and enjoy yours. AHHHHH the famous ZENTRAV from AVS strikes again. . . . . lol
  14. I told you! lol. To me, the 7's sound great on Pure direct. Maybe has something to do with the Outlaw also. IDK
  15. http://www.higherfi.com/spkrlist/speakerlist.php Glad I can show this to the wife so that I can say I went on the cheap side when buying my system....
  16. The 62 is a beast! I struggled with this as well. When I upgraded it wasn't night and day. The 64 felt larger audibly and I thought it lacked in the bass dept compared to the 62. (ported vs sealed) That being said, It takes awhile to get used to it , but rest assured, it is better than the 62. . . . ever so slightly. It matches your 7's so take solace.
  17. That was a good read & nice to see a shout out to his memory of the RF-7. A couple notable things stood out. * The size of the original RF-7 wasn't "wife friendly". * Yet, he placed the larger RF-7 ll's... 6-feet from the back wall. How wife friendly is that? (or real world practical) * He found that even his 230Wpc bridged Burson was found lacking (when pushing) compared to bridged Hegel H30 @ 1100Wpc * No mention if "Rammstein" was wife friendly (lol) Not exactly what he said....but I get it
  18. I love this review! http://www.soundvisionreview.com/hi-fi-home-theater/speakers/klipsch-rf-7-ii-review/
  19. I'm sure they were talking about tube amps on the lower end spectrum
