Not that I know of.This is Dana's design and I've not seen the plans. I was going to build a set for myself since I'm retired from the audio business now. I have Jube plans and Hartsfield plans so I'm going with either of those two. I believe any of the three can be voiced quite dramatically and with out splitting hairs I would be happy listening to them all. Bill

Parrot ya cant make a better looking horn than the 402. I'm just in for a smaller one! 20k? I do a sweep like this and my ears are done at 16k and that's pretty faint. after that it's just colored lights on the screen. bill

roy your correct. i worked up this today. a 2" driver (4592) on a 400hz horn. covers 300hx -3db to 20khz -8db. holds steady to 19k.... good enough for me.

I'm glad you guys are happy with the Trachorns. We love building them here. All the credit goes to Al, He came up with a workable design that fits into the klipsch products, and brought it to market for you. Yep, I'm on the jub train. I'm going to have to give up my industrial, black, non grilled, jbl cinima's! I'm still pondering what horn to use on top of the jub. I'm leaning toward a single larger horn. Similar to Al's Trachorn but larger for a 2" driver. maybe a mouth size around 10 x 22. I can use a BMS 4592 coax if i can get enough hi freq out of the horn. Even if the jub is 104db the top horn will need some 12db attenuation so there is a lot of room for using a bypass cap in the attenuation. Still, that big a horn is more than likely not going to be the best sounding tweeter. Might be better to use a 4592 midrange only driver and then a small tweeter on the side. I would like to keep it simple with just a single horn. I'm going to have to get a proto made up and see what kind of results happen.

Mr. Delgado, Thanks for the wonderful work and contributions for the jubilee. I was always taken back by the k horns when I was a kid but never managed to get a pair. I think your work on the jubilee is marvelous, and I hope to be working on a clone for my living room with the help of all the other folks who have been researching this design. Bill Martinelli

The workmanship is quite stunning. The time spent on the paint and finish makes them fit to be outside of the grille cloth. There is an 1/8" bending ply you'll want to look. It's made in Italy and is poplar.

All the suggestions are good for sealing cabinets. I use autobody fillers or epoxy's for large voids or gaps. these are not flexible and less likely to be taken apart but are sandable. Calk for running a bead around the internal cabinet for air sealing is great. Silicone is the best and DAP acrylics are cheaper and easier to use with a life expectancy that will out live the cabinet. Also available at home depot now is a sealant called SIKA Sika Flex has been around the industrial world for years and may be worth a look for your project. Bill Martinelli

Hi Guys, Thanks for the nice compliments. MAF was good time this year and keeps getting better. Mike Baker did one hell of a job with this promotion and it's only been two years. I hope he decides to stick with it and continue the annual event. Like many of you who were able to attend. I was very disappointed that Klipsch was not able to attend as a vendor. Herc-- A picture sounds great. please email it to me. I had found a web page as a link on a thread here from a gentlman who installed 511B's into his khorns. It was a bit of work as outlined by the pictures but a clean install and the grill went on to cover it all. very nice, and an inexpensive sulution if the 511B will do what your looking for. It also seems for an even simpler test to to install vanes into the K400. If the horn is metal. You need only find a good welder with a light foot and have the vanes tig 'd in. A while back DJK had done some K400 horns in a plastic I believe. He had different throat size available at that time and it might be possible for vanes to be installed in those horns. I have not spoke to him but some of you guys probably know him well. Bill
