  2. "Sugar, Sugar" by The Archies Maybe this is why I am so sweet!!
  3. I just bought some RS42's for rear speakers in my 5.1. I need to find a solid mount for them. Has anyone mounted these and what type of mounts did you use to do this to the wall. Thanks
  4. Is there a chance I can get a copy of the pics also? I purchased some before i left for Iraq and will be back in a few months and want to have an idea how to set things up when i get home.... justrelaxing@hotmail.com Thanks LeRoy
  5. I took a look at the RB-61 and RB-81...both seem sweet. Would you buy 2 pairs of them? front and rear? Or would you use them for either the front or rear and go with another size? Also, is there a big difference with the the size 10 and size 12 subs? I am in the Army...........heading over to the sandbox in July Your welcome for my service..... Thanks for all your help....
  6. Well got my basment ready. Its about 13x17. I have a klipsch center speaker (think its a C3) I have Klipsch Tangent 50's but that takes up too much space. Is there speakers that can go from book shelf to wall mount in about a year or so? I am being deployed, but would like to buy some speakers to set up with current tv. When I get back from Iraq, I would like to install a projector and thinking wall mount speakers would be the way to go. If anyone else has done a different set up or has ideas, I would love to hear them. Any help is useful. Will be buying a Denon 2807 at the end of the month when I get a few days at home prior to flying out. Budget would be around 1500 if that sounds reasonable. Or will I have to step into another area for a brand of speakers. Thanks
  7. I am looking at getting denon 2803, and have sc3 center speaker, klipsch tangent 50 floor speakers for front and looking at getting the 12" powered sub. What is the best way to choose the rear mounted speakers. My area will be 11 x 15 area in the basement
  8. I currently have Klipsch Tangent 50's which are older and would consider replacing if need to, but prefer not. Also I have the SC1 center speaker. Want to start pricing things out as I would like to do my basement and have the family room there and put a home theatre setup there. The area will be about 15x30 and the syetem would be put on the edge of the wall which is 30 feet long. I am looking at upgrading my denon reciever to a AVR2803 or AVR 3805. I want it all to sound good but not paying $15,000. Any help with ideas would be great.
  9. I have a pair of Klipsch Tangent 50's. The horn has a scratchy sound to it. I am wondering if you know where I can get another horn for my speaker. When I took it out, it looks to be a K-82-K Anyone know?
  10. I bought a pair of Klipsch Tangent 50 speakers in Germany while in the military. The horn is scratchy and would like to replace them. Any one know where to go to buy a new one? the back of thorn has K-82-K inprinted on it, but did a search in a search engine and no luck.
  11. I do have a video card that has tv-output. Problem is my tv does not have s-video. Besides buying new tv is there anyway that I can hook this up to watch movies i download on my computer on my tv?
  12. I have not finished my basement. That is where I eventually will have my main setup. It is still about 2 yrs from being done. I have a older Denon Rec and Polk Audio speakers and a Klipsch center speaker. Dont have a lot of space for getting a sub. Will a EQ work or is it by far better to skip that and try my best to find space for a sub?
  13. Ok, I cant afford to go out and buy the system all at once. So looking to see what I should buy first to help out the sound the best. I have a older Denon Receiver which has dolby digital. I plan on getting the Denon AV-4200 or so. I have Klipsch Tangent 50 floor speakers. and the Klipsch center speaker but nt sure what one. I want to buy the K-12 subwoofer. My question is, would it help for me to get the subwoofer first or if i am upgrading hoping in a year or so with my reciver. Does a equalizer help out with bass? Or do most of the newer receiver have enough to where a equalizer is not worth the money anymore. Any help would be great.
  14. Well guys, I just moved into a home. The basement is not finished. That is where in 2 years the system will go. For now I will have the start of the system in the living room. Currently i have a 27 inch tv......It does have a S-Video. Plan on getting a HDTV in 2 yrs when I move the theatre to the basement. I currently have Klipsch Tangent 50 front floor speakers. I want to buy a Denon Receiver. I have a Klipsch center speaker, not sure of model. Want to buy DVD player soon. Not sure of kind to get. Is it nessary to get progressive scan now? What do I look for and any good ones to get? Dont want to go over $400. I will be getting the rear Klipsch speakers. My system will be used for both movies and music. Currently the DVD is in budget.......1 year from now I plan on upgrading and limit is within reason, but not as scarse as I want to go with DVD. Any help would be great guys & gals
