  1. Y'all might think I'm crazy but the bass is awesome already!! I'm very pleased with the output. I get bored and want to add more. Some might think that I have lost it, lol! Will it ever be enough? 6 subs just seems to be an odd number even though it's not.
  2. Which would you prefer? Option A: (1 Qty.) Stereo Integrity (Dual 2 Ohm) HST18 18″ SUBWOOFER powered by an iNuke 3000DSP wired to each channel to deliver a possible 1500 watts per coil side. Estimated costs: Sub = $549 Amplifier: $279 (1) DIYGroup Sealed Box: $120 (1) Pack - Threaded Binding Posts $7.00 ea Option A costs total: $955 OR Option B: (2 Qty.) Stereo Integrity (Dual 2 Ohm) DS4 18″ SUBWOOFER (Each sub wired in series to equal 4 Ohms) and then powered by an iNuke 6000DSP to deliver a possible 3100 watts per subwoofer. (Use limiter parameter) Estimated costs: Sub = $518 Amplifier: $400 (2) DIYGroup Sealed Boxes: ($120 ea) T = $240 (2) Packs - Threaded Binding Posts ($7.00 ea) T = $14 Option B costs total: $1172 Difference in cost is $217 You might ask yourself, “He already has 6-18’s, how much more bass does he need?” Well, I don’t really need anymore, if you’re a bass head, you know. My observation would be that option “B” would deliver more bang for your buck. But, I would like to hear from fellow bass heads and alike.
  3. Also check these out: http://www.amazon.com/Mediabridge-ULTRA-Fast-Lock-Banana-Plugs/dp/B00JFC9ALE?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage I have had very good success with any mediabridge product.
  4. Metro, would the Ultimax be a good alternative to work with my current SI 18's? Nevermind, just looked it up and only comes 2+2.
  5. That's right, each speaker would not get the same amount of power. I'm going to contact stereo integrity and see if they have a dual 4 ohm option. Thanks metro.
  6. A dual 2 ohm woofer in series (now 4 ohm), then a dual 4 ohm woofer in series (now 8 ohm). Now wire those 2 woofers in pararell to equal 2.67 ohms. This would be a total of 4 subs. 2 on each channel. My intention is to buy another inuke6000dsp.
  7. Do you think the 6000dsp could handle a 2.67ohm load per channel?
  8. No, just the size of the boxes stacked upon each other.
  9. I'm interested in the new SI DS418, but they are 2-ohm per coil. I'm trying to figure which amp would also be best to run these (2) dual 2-ohms along with my current (2) dual 4-ohm 18's without the amp clipping or causing the smoke to come out.
  10. Hi Jason, I have other items behind that wall and that's why the boxes would need to be angled in. Just fyi, i'm not opposed to keeping my 2 current front subs in their respective locations and adding these 2 new subs angled in.
  11. Great. Good to be back! Oh yes, I have a trip in July already scheduled. Game of Thrones. I think this was from season 2.
  12. I'm considering of relocating my 2 front subs to the wall side and having them fire out at an angle due to the space limits. I have a made quick mock-up drawing for reference. Would there be any unforeseen issue(s) to consider with this change as far as sound quality? Currently, the 2 front subs fire directly forward into the MLP. I have (4) rear subs that fire along the same wall. Here's a video of my current set-up for better visual reference.
  13. Very nice dtel and Ceptorman. Those are some nice ideas to use. Thanks.
  14. This looks just like what I might need. Thanks for all the input folks!
  15. My next home project involves redesigning my rear deck and implementing an outdoor area that will have a kitchen, fireplace, firepit, and a hot-tub, along with additional hardscaping and landscaping. I'm interested to hear any opinions on software that you have used in a similar way. I don't want to spend much on the software as I will be only using for this project.
  16. I'm not totally sure what to expect but I will be riding a good bit on the roads so the HT was the best and most economical way to go. I hope to go on some decent trails with it and see if I can still throw it around as I did back in my bmx days in the 70's.
  17. Here's what I pulled the trigger on, can't wait to get it! You would think "pedals" would come with the bike at this price point. The Airborne Goblin 29er with Sram X7 components and RockShox Reba RL 29 w/Lock-Out Fork.
  18. There's no CF out there for that price. Lol!
  19. At this point, yes, just because I wouldn't know how rough the bike has been ridden such as warped wheels. Just a bit leary on used right now, unless I know the seller has really taken care of it.
  20. Metro, that's also a sweet bike that you have. I looking to spend $800 max. I really like the 29". To give an idea of what I'm looking: 2015 Cannondale Trail 5 Fuji Nevada 1.1 29er Gravity 29Point3 Thanks for any help!
  21. Super sweet set-up, but a bit too rich for my blood, thanks though!
