Let me know when you are coming through Michigan and you can deliver them to me....if you don't like them😉

And then on to someone in WI, and eventually on to me :D

They gave me a Fosston address.  I'm in Alexandria.

Wow, had to look up Fosston...that's pretty far up there.

If I do it's deer season here so I could always borrow a friend's thing that you kill deer with.

is it finally deer season?  I've been hearing gunshots every weekend morning for nearly 2 months now but I know it wasn't deer season yet, so I was a little confused as to what they were hunting in my area.

Got an email back from the seller.  They gave me their address which is actually somewhat close to where I live.  Hmm...

Aren't you out west near me?  I thought the seller was in Ramsey.

I have one. Very nice unit and looks great too.

Glad to hear that...what headphones and sources are you using?  I'm tempted to unwrap it and listen for a week or two, even though that probably would diminish the value.

Sure is a pretty little thing!

It really is...I'd love to try it out but I just don't use my headphones that much anymore.

  5. Indeed, great phone.  I used mine for 2 years, then dropped it once and the SIM cards no longer read.  My kids use it now for wifi calling, gave them a phone number on Skype and it still works well otherwise.

Moved on to a Pixel XL about a year ago and it's even better than the 6P.  Running on Google Fi for the last 2.5 years, no complaints there.

I was hoping that it was something like that, and that's why I PMed you two. If you called an overlooked dibs we could set things right. On the bright side, you earned money working and saved money too. What I am sure of, we will have another deal headed our way and it's not worth anyone getting upset.

Unfortunately the only money I earned was by not buying these, since I don't get paid for OT or oncall work :D

I didn't mean to shoot you out of the saddle. I didn't pay much attention to what was said in this thread. Since they were not marked as sold, I PMed him and told him that I would PP him the money. It went that fast and I figured I would work on the transportation later.

If you had an agreement on them that Gorm missed or misunderstood, let's see what we think is the right thing to do.  As much as I want them too, if you want to pay me what I payed (500 + PP transaction fee), I will let them go to keep everyone happy.

Sent you a PM....no worries on my end, it sounds like my timing just wasn't right since I had to work this weekend.  Lyle, thank you for offering to pick them up for me!  I will just put the $ into the home theater buildout.

  8. I have for sale a brand new Klipsch Heritage headphone amplifier.  I received this as a gift but since I rarely use my headphones anymore I don't have much use for it.  I was really into headphones and amps a few years ago, but I work at home now and generally use the system in my basement so I'd like to sell it to help fund my home theater buildout.  I opened the box to make sure everything was in there, but I did not open up the foam wrapper as it's still taped shut from the factory.

I took a few pics of it in the box, but if needed I can open it up for more pics.  Review sites have some nice photos of it in action as well.

Retail on them is $499, I am asking for $400 shipped CONUS.

    Details from the Klipsch website:

Encased in formed aluminum with genuine walnut veneer, the Heritage Headphone Amplifier exudes quality before plugging in your headphones. All switches, knobs, and controls are weighted and anodized aluminum for great feel and tactile response. All analog switches operate through relays for the cleanest signal while maintaining a vintage feel.

    Features:

    • Audiophile digital to analog converter
    • Asynchronous USB interface
    • Dual amplifiers for balanced output
    • Versatile inputs and outputs
    • Low distortion
    • Sample rate notification

    Hi Shaun!

Hey @Gorm, I've met and hung out with Shaun. Very cool and sincere guy. I hope the two of you can work something out. Good deal on a sweet pair.

Thanks Lyle, I appreciate the kind words.  Sorry I dropped out of the conversation over the last day, being on call for work can be a bear :(.  I'll reply to your PM's here shortly.

  10. Hey, thanks for responding to my texts.  I understand why you'd be hesitant to ship these given past issues with damage.  I have a friend in Des Moines who does come up here occasionally, but that still doesn't solve the issue since he's not terribly close to you.  I've been keen to try these out for years now so if there's any way we can work something out I'd be interested.

Yep, it is.  I actually live in the same town as the seller now.  I wouldn't mind checking them out, at least just to give them a listen.

I'm down in St. Michael, not too far away but since I have no real interest in them myself I don't want to waste the sellers time.  Would be fun to listen though!
