  1. Sounds like boxer changes were in order. I, as well, cannot stand ACC and turn it off whenever I drive.
  2. Still pissing off the neighbors ??
  3. @CoyteeDo you need someone, to step in, and assume the name XX ?? I can help. Save your clients some homework 😀. We too, have heard from our financial advisor, about the abundance of brain farts from people that have "advanced levels of education". Seriously, you should get a finders fee for steering your clients in the right direction.
  4. Who would have predicted two of the Big Ten Conference quarterbacks would rewrite NFL stats. Drew Brees = Purdue (Hail Purdue) and Tom Brady = Michigan.
  5. Tinnitus, kind of like Cicadas 24/7 for me. Tongue or temples...couldn't be that bad.
  6. Satisfied at 70%. There is always some kind of an upgrade available somewhere. Just don't think I can hear it. Uncle Sam says I will need hearing aids in the near future. So I asked my doctor if they had Klipsch with 11.2 channel available. He didn't even smile.
  7. Shot #1 on board. Pfizer with just a sore arm. Shot #2 tomorrow morning. We will see what tomorrow brings. A sore arm and or flu symptoms are a whole lot better than a dirt nap any way you look at it.
  8. The Wailing Wailers. R.I.P. Bunny Bob Peter Sad day, Trenchtown will never be the same.
  9. Put snow blower away - check. Turn pond waterfall back on - check. Get ready for outdoor fires - check. Wash 2 pounds of salt off cars - check. Yep ready for spring.
  10. Crate train crate train as a pup !!! Later they can have free range of the house. Best thing we ever did with our, now senior, pup. Having a smart dog makes training easy and time investments worthwhile. Ours knows right and left - makes walking easy.
  11. If a whole house generator is your choice, Cummins/Onan what else, splurge on an ATS. Automatic Transfer Switch -> senses utility loss and transfers the load to the, already started, generator. And when the ATS senses utility is back on line, transfers back to utility and does a shut down of the generator.
  12. Getting ready to build a set of vintage La Scala's from the online plans. Already modeled the enclosures and components. Bob Crites suggested, RIP, woofer/tweeters/driver combinations as did ALK as well as crossovers. Anyone mind sharing their journey down this road ??
  13. What other rocker has won the Nobel Prize in Literature. Dylan classic !!

    Beer Drinkers

Three Floyd's is definitely a gem to have a little drive away. With so many micro brew established and so many up and coming it is getting difficult to have and keep favorites. For those who have not tried these, but are looking for new favorites - Beer advocate rates these in the top 100. -Three Floyds => Zombie Dust -Bells Brewery => Two Hearted Ale -Peoples Brewing Company => Mound Builder Prost/Cin cin/Salud/Slainte/Skal/Cheers

    Beer Drinkers

Slowly with a Geritol chaser. Three Floyds Permanent Funeral IPA 10.5 ABV.
  18. Well, much valid advise for either the 8' or the 9' block height or crawl for that matter. Wood working shop ? Great choice. My 2¢: 1) Since this is your forever home, and you are not worried about resale or ceiling height, go with the 8'. 2) Spent part of the $6,000 savings on a deluxe ALL-TOOL-CENTRAL-VAC. Locate this in the ceiling. 3) Splurge on a couple of new work station tools like - a Grizzly 3 head shaper or a Jet 20" Planer, or maybe a 6' extension to a table saw. No table saw ? well maybe a Delta with the 6' extensions. 4) And of course some sort of NEW Klipsch for the ears. I enjoy my wood shop immensely.
  19. I take several shots of Geritol, daily, to help with aches and pains. Let me get my reading glasses, Hmmm...bottle label says Wild Turkey. Works for me and my friend seem to like it as well.
  20. Well I was referring to replacing not tightening.
  21. If there is any doubt replace. It will only get worse as the internal (bumpers, springs, and contacts) wear out. Whether you or LL do the actual work. It really is easy => Always kill the circuit power first at the Main or Sub Panel (unless you want curly hair). Then check to see if power is actually off where you are working. Lotta questionable electricians.
  22. rplace: Should be pretty straight forward if you have not already done so. The Jasper Circle jig will work fine and skip using the Spiral bit. Sequence I would do. 1) Set up the Jasper -> pin your circle guide to 15.375". On the backside (orange below). 2) Still pinned do your cut passes (Lime below) until you reach .6875" (Purple below). Also on the backside. 3) Drill you mounting holes, if applicable. From the front side. 4) Cut your 14" thru hole. From the front side. 5) Clean-up 6) Have a beer.
