  1. Hi.

Currently I have the Klipsch rp-8060FA as mains, rp-504C center and rp-502S as surrounds.

The atmos effects on the front 8060fa is so good that I want to get this in the back as well.

Dolby recommends direct firing and my current rp-502s is bipole and not atmos enabled.

I was initially going for the RP-500M II +500SA, but getting good stands, means the price would get very close and it would essentially use the same space. What should I get as surrounds? Would the 6000F be overkill? Should I be looking at the 6000F II? Really stuck on what to do....

  2. Hi.
I use the Klipsch RP-502S using wall brackets that connect through the threaded insert, according to the manual it's 3/8-16 x 0.5".

I am using the Konig & Meyer 24185 wall mount: Speaker wall/ ceiling mount

These use the exact same threaded connector and held the speaker upright without any problems.

However the material surrounding the threaded insert started to bubble up. The dealer replaced the speakers with new ones, but I am afraid this will happen again once I hang the new 502s. Was this an isolated case with a defective speaker or is the threaded insert not meant to carry the weight of the speakers?
