  1. The budget gap is only a surprise for our Governor & his party. The adults have been asing for reduction in spending. With a focus on priorities and getting the most bang for every dollar spent. They have great difficulty saying NO or just reducing the amount rate of expense increase rate of ex Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  2. Recall purchasing this album, motivated by my enjoyment of "Steely Dan". Recall the first time listening to, being stunned by the quality of this recording. The detail and power of the music was a new experience. That moment, is when I believe my ear matured in its ability to appreciate quality audio. The quality of the recording was a pleasure and I became less focus on playing for he loudness. Now, some 35 yrs later, "Nightfly", continues to deliver an enjoyable experience. That has improved since that first day when I brought my purchase home from CALDOR (Department store, long gone). My enjoyment of listening to this album, since first listening back in the day, has only improved. Best guess probably the best Four Bucks I ever spent.
  3. Skylab stands are gorgeous and solid. My Heresy III have been on my stands for three plus years. Serving as my surronds/rears in 5.1 system. Great folks to do business with. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  4. Just saw this on EBay, (I have no relationship to this transaction). EBay posting: Klipsch Walnut Forte II & Academy center speaker (matching). Located: Bridge City, Texas 77611. 7. Is the cherry finish on Forte III match the cherry finish of the Heresy III? Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  8. Curious anyone own both the new Forte III & the Forte II's; and have shared their impression of how they sound? Not unlike many of you, I fell in love with the finishes of Forte III. I don't doubt that I would love to have them. Simply need to resolve the outlay vs how much more pleasure I may gain. If I had own Forte I's first, couldn't see replacing them, to buy the Forte II. I suspect that the difference to the III is greater improvement. Hopefully a dealer or forum member nearby will have the Forte III and be kind enough to let us have a listen. 9. Mungkiman; Happy & Healthy Birthday, for many decades. Great gift especially from your dad, is their a story to be shared? Or receiving from ones Dad alone, says a lot on its own. Cheers, Jeff Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  10. If you have any questions please feel free to ask? I do reccomend having a fully charged power screw or variable drill. Makes the process easier and pain free. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  11. cgolf70; My experience with my Forte II's. Having owned since delivery from Hope AK where they were crafted. After speaking with Bob Crities, I replaced Crossovers, and both Tweeters & Mids to Titanium. Then I perform my own non-scientific test, by listening to the first speaker that was upgraded vs other speaker that hadn't been upgraded. Results were rewarding, and I never second guessed my spending $'s with Bob Crities. Hope your results are as revealing as mine were. Good luck and always enjoy your sounds. 12. Sounds as if you have attain as close to perfection as is possible. Curious which speakers are you using with your Benchmark? Enjoy, as you deserve it. All the best, Jeff Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  13. Bombastic, as I had shared earlier, that volunteers make these events a reality. Christy is an example of a tireless, passionate volunteer. Thankfully she and her husband provide countless hours towards Klipsch Forum, Pilgrimage and any other need that presents itself. Bottom line, very good people. As I have found so many folks that I have met through my love of Klipsch. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
