  1. I am planning a HT speaker upgrade. I currently use LR: Klipsch RF-82 II , C Klipsch RC-62 II , RL RR: Klipsch RB-51 II , 4x Atmos: Klipsch RP-500SA , Sub: SVS PB1000.

I want to be able to play 2 channel audio with much better quality than my current setup (subwoofer will not be utilized). Movies/Music will be 85/15 %.

Would you recommend Cornwall over Forte?

    If I can't get 3, where should I place the 4th?

Can I reuse the the RF-82 II for Rear L and R?

    Heresy an option?

    RF-7 III better?

I want to start with LCR, expand later.

  2. Currently I am running a 5.1.2. I will soon be moving homes and expanding 2 more Atmos and 2 more for surrounds. Looked online and found the RB61ii are same cost as RB51ii which I have right now. The newer 5" are also around the same price.

Will it matter too much to get the 6.5" ones and mix them? Which should be the sides and which the rears then?

  3. So I got a pair of Reference Premier RP-500SA for Atmos and WOW am I shocked how cheap they look. The reference premier is supposed to be the better of the lineups and yet it looked like a cheap Chinese speaker. The grill cover is the worst, plastic looks super cheap, the logo paint wore off and the cloth looks like it will rip. I can also see glue on the inner cone of the woofer. WOW... My Reference II series looks classes ahead in quality.

With Palladium gone, is there anything above Reference Premier as far as HT speakers go?

  4. I have this receiver with the setup in my signature. Even for a 5.0 it is able to drive the speakers quite well and the room fills with bass. Just watched Mad Max yesterday and it was amazing. As for switching sources, I don't have that need/issue so it doesn't affect me.
