  1. Correction: That should be REL subwoofers. Just goes to show I never heard of this brand until checking the Klipsch forum.
  2. I sincerely appreciate the responses to my inquiry about finding a subwoofer for my LaScalas. Living in somewhat isolated northern Ontario makes it hard to know what to look for without the benefit of a nearby dealer with a range of products to see and hear, let alone bring home for a trial. I will definitely investigate SEL subs and the newer Klipsch subs. My travels will take me to Toronto and Montreal in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully I will find time to look up some audio shops that will give me a chance to hear the speakers suggested. Thanks again!
  3. I wonder if anyone with LaScalas has found a satisfactory sub to use for mainly music. Paradigm speakers are well priced here in Canada, but I don't want to sacrifice quality by running out to buy a Paradigm product.
  4. Thanks for the quick replies! Being a "newbie" it took me a few minutes to browse the archives to find a similar question from Dennis Lamb in November with many excellent suggestions. Seems like I am following in the footsteps of other LaScala owners upgrading to home theatre.
  5. Any thoughts about a good, compact centre speaker for my pair of Klipsch LaScalas? I do have an older LaScala collecting dust in the basement (my original MONO system) but it is too large for our living room arrangement. I seem to remember Paul Klipsch years ago recommending a BelleKlipsch to centre flanking Klipsch Horns . . . but I am digressing and dating myself.
