  1. What the...awww cmon man!!! I think I may just be willing to cough up the extra $$ for it soon.... call it a fairly inexpensive life lesson....
  2. I am so close with two people on getting an RC-64, but communication is just so slllllloooowwwwww.... I could have just bought a RC-64ii by now.......please tell me this is worth the battle....
  3. Well I am definitely up for at least reading through a thread here or something, I can be pretty handy with lots of stuff but this is something I want to do correctly. I really think to be considerate instead of thinking "soundproof" I am thinking "as much sound dampening as I can possibly do without losing my darn mind".
  4. I cant thank all of you enough for the great support. You know its so funny, before this thread it never even DAWNED on me to have more than one sub. I ordered one of the 15s. Now this being a house in Queens its connected on both sides to other houses. We just moved in 2 years ago and I should at least done SOME soundproofing when we re did the basement, but it was a stressful time to say the very very least. I think the next thread I start, if there isnt one already, should be about soundproofing....well its probably more like sound dampening, because as loud as the neighbors can be, this monster theater is going to put them all to shame. shaaaame. Its frustrating because I have done a ton of work to get it looking pretty....only now to probably have to tear it all out to soundproof it....or at least really really deaden the sound. http://www.soundproofing.org/infopages/basement.htm
  5. Welp, if you change your mind and wanna ship the RC64 I will take it
  6. How the heck do I contact this guy. I signed up for an account but its limited access.....waiting patiently.... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=486034
  7. Ok, I think I need to pull back on getting such a huge sub. I am really eyeing the R-115SW...Yes? No? Now, as far as the center is concerned I texted the guy with the RC-64 and replied saying he would double check he still has it but unfortunately hasn't responded since early this morning. Ugg. I set the configuration to not have a center at all, using W27s fantastic advice. Sounded very good.
  8. *Deep Breath* aaaaaand release.... Wow. Just WOW. Wow wow wow wow wow. Is it weird to want to marry speakers? Thats weird right? Yeah ok...its weird. We have been in heaven testing these bad boys out! Thank you so so much W27 could not have been more patient and helpful. This was a very very fast turn around in upgrades AND depletion of funds....
  9. Now the big question is....what movie am I going to test these bad boys out on?
  10. Heres where you recommend a matching sub for all these new speakers I am getting....DUH.
  11. Mama mia, I just looked those up. Thats a massive price jump. What does "servo controlled" mean?
  12. Sub questions: Whats the difference between my SW-112 and the R-112SW? Also...should I get the R-115SW? *cough cough* yes of course *cough cough*
  13. Yeah I think my surrounds are going to require some creativity as far as placement is concerned.
  14. Lookie lookie https://newhaven.craigslist.org/ele/d/klipsch-rc-large-center/6208862450.html
  15. Those must be the really inexpensive ones, right guys? ...right?
  16. Okay okay okay, lets take a deep breath here...you enablers! (I love it) Mains: It looks like the RF-83s, as long as they are well working, should be a lock. I will get them tomorrow at 4:00 lol Center: If we can find an RC-64 either around the new york city area OR the Albany, NY area that would be great (I am going up there this weekend) Rears: Two problems: The Sides: if you in the pictures theres lots of stuff in the way of the side rears. If I make the sides RS-62s I really don't know where the heck they would go. One could go where the gremlins art is hanging BUT the other side has a built in bookcase that ain't going anywhere. The Back: In the picture you can see 2 things: 1. That the speakers are in wall and 2. the couch has to be flat up against the back wall. I could put the back right in a corner but the back left would be a problem because the bathroom door is right there.
  17. I will just put it as far to the right as it will go, it probably wont fit under those shelves anyways
  18. My god your system is awesome.. Now I fear that not finding the matching center is going to drive me insane.... its on amazon for $1400...
