    Stock tips for fun

I've been out of the country. Otherwise I would have mentioned AMD last week, just for fun. And I still will.

    Stock tips for fun

The one month update: CDE up $1.65. Nice.

    Stock tips for fun

The one month update: AG up .45 cents. Not great, but money could have been made, just for fun. It has ran its course and I lost interest a few weeks back anyway. I missed on the AAPL short.
  5. So you went back into the archives to link another story that is FACTUAL to prove...that ZeroHedge is 'askew?' Well then, this is really going to cause smoke to come out of you ears: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-16/smith-wesson-revenues-hit-all-time-high-200-obama-election I think from now on, when I find a story I think is worth linking, I'll see if i can find it on ZeroHedge. It'll be my little 'wink and nod' to you and your unmatched skills to keep this site free of news sources you don't approve of.
  6. I think it's the French unions that are the most active in getting into the streets via strike. Effectively shutting down essential services until they get their way.
  7. You have your facts wrong. When that person said the President was a Muslim after having studied the issue I said he was either ignorant or an idiot. You are the one that keeps linking to zerohedge, and they are askew. We have had this conversation before. You claim it just happens to be source you came across and then when I point it out, you jump to another source. You obviously like or follow their agenda, what's yours? What on earth has crawled up your backside? ZeroHedge, along with a slew of other sites, is where I get my news from. SO WHAT if you don't like it? Who the heck anointed you 'keeper of the sacred link, where nothing unapproved by you shall be referenced.' THIS thread is about a knife attack in France. Got that? Understand that? See that? SO, do you have a comment to contribute to the thread that is relevant? I could have linked from any number of other sources because the story is FACTUAL. Or do you dispute that the story is factual? For a lawyer, you seem easily sidetracked. It'd be interesting to read some of your pleadings. Am I going to have to put you on ignore? EDIT: and you're right, I had my facts wrong. You attacked him by calling him an idiot, not stupid. My bad.
  8. Stupide américain, bien sûr, je sais de quoi je parle. Le bout pointu tourné vers l'avant !
  9. I just had a layover in France. Sure glad my Passport doesn't have the name Stabby McStabber. I feel sorry for that guy.
  10. Don't cut yourself down, go ahead and take a stab at it.
  11. France is gonna have to pass a law against this thread.
  12. I had to google it. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
  13. Wait, I don't get that one.
  14. Cut the crap. These are serious times.
  15. Mr. DWI Lawyer is anything but BS crazy. All of his posts I've read are topical, relevant and thoughtful. He doesn't need me to defend him, I just wanted to offer my opinion. Perhaps I misunderstood his post? He seemed to be saying that since he considered the source not credible that the story was bunk. He devoted a few paragraphs attacking the site, for goodness sake. But didn't dispute the accuracy of the story at all. That, to me, seems a bit batshit crazy.
  16. Never catch a falling knife?
  17. As I recall in the last thread, you were the only poster to commit a personal attack by calling someone stupid. And here you are again, attacking a ... news source? I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that there wasn't a knife attack in France that killed a couple people? Should I link other sources to satisfy your mind? http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-crime-idUSKCN0YZ2KA Your post appears a bit batshit insane.
  18. I know this goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. Deranged individuals will always find a way to harm others. The chosen tool whether it be their bare hands or a nerf bat is besides the point. The current threat before us, and the world, has already proven to be most adept with anything they can get their hands on: fire, water, knives and even tall buildings. Calling for a limit or a ban on a specific category of tool/weapon completely misses the mark, in my opinion. We aren't fighting the tools, we are fighting the zealots. France has been very slow to realize this, but they are getting there. It is my hope we look at their situation and our recent situations (9/11, Boston, San Bernadino, Orlando) and come to our senses about our predicament.
  19. Conversations about knives are banned here too? Is it all knives or just over a certain blade length? Folding blades or blades that are sheathed? Who has a copy of the subject matter we aren't allowed to talk about that isn't specified in the TOS, and can I get a copy so that I don't keep stepping over the lines?
  20. I know the photos are probably 'off.' It looks like Merlot.

  22. Incompetence. Plain and simple in my view. The answer will be to throw more money at the incompetence. That is how incompetent power fixes any problem, by refusing to acknowledge their own incompetence and instead blame 'not enough resources.' Remember also, the NSA is collecting all the phone records and electronic data for practically every American. Computers listening for keywords and flagging anything for review that is suspicious. Or so they say? Perhaps they are...but perhaps they aren't flagging keywords that terrorists would be using? Otherwise, how can they explain San Bernadino, Boston, and now Orlando? Regardless, billions upon billions being spent every year for the past 15 years all in the name of fighting terrorists. We are removing our shoes and belts at airports and women being physically searched and touched. We are actively being forced to surrender our 4th amendment rights. But it doesn't seem a single incident of terrorism has been thwarted by these incompetent boobs.
  23. Perhaps there is an agenda? I don't have proof - nobody does - but people can see it. You need only look at the history of their responses every time something like this happens. Only this time, it is becoming glaringly obvious. Your post describes perfectly the illogical response of our political leader(s) over this latest incident. They can carefully disguise their responses to similar domestic incidents to call for more gun control and the people will be none the wiser. Over time, with enough incidents that fit their political agenda, they can become successful. This time, anyone with a careful eye will see what you have seen: we have now had (at least) a 3rd terrorist attack on our soil from a foreign enemy that has openly stated they want to do us harm and kill our people and the response from our president after one of these successful attacks is that we need more gun control. A response that is ludicrous; misses the mark; irresponsible; politically motivated. He'll still use these dead and broken bodies to further a political ideology, because they are opportunists. But it is at least easier to see what he/they truly are: at the very least anti-American, for attempting to dismantle a bedrock Right of the American people. Even now, after suffering an attack from a foreign enemy, the opportunistic democratic presidential candidate is calling for a reinstatement on the ban of 'assault rifles.' Sorry, the proper response to a foreign attack on your soil is not to dismantle one of the rights your country was founded on. And people vote for these candidates? She couldn't be further from the mark if she tried! What constitutionally grounded government directly and consistently attacks one of the guaranteed Rights claimed for the citizenry at every opportunity and can still be deemed Patriotic? What individual supports these people and still claim they themselves are patriotic?
