Okay, I have dual BIC PL200s currently. Considering dual SVS PB2000s or dual Klipsch R115sw subs. Room 2400 cf, open to dining room, hall to kitchen, and 800 cf sun room. Limited locations for subs due to WAF. Second sub hidden behind my EZ chair at rear wall. Front sub located left wall 1/4 from front wall and next to couch (limited visibility, DW doesn't share my passion for black boxes in the living room). Non negotiable. <g> Needed second sub because first sub was too locatable (much better with two). Klipsch RP280, RC450, R15 rears, & Onkyo 836. Mainly movies, but I love music (not Rap). Not as happy with the BICs for music (a little too boomy). Everyone seems to like the ID subs, but I can get the two Klipsch subs cheaper via mail order than the SVS. Am I going to get more output from the Klipsch merely because of the bigger woofer size, despite smaller amp? The SVS have the same driver size as the BICs. I guess what I'm asking is will the two subs I've mentioned be that much of an improvement output-wise over my BICs? I won't take a loss, my extra equipment will be going to my basement man cave for those times DW wants to binge on Lifetime and Hallmark.
