"Uninvited Newcomers" and that's why your no b/s forum got closed and why so many get reported. I've read the term here "regulars" and now "uninvited newcomer" that about somes up why your no b/s forum was closed. Many of you are guilty of being snobs. You were ALL newcomers at one time and let's face it folks. If your in a Speaker forum so much you consider yourself a "regular". Look at your skin, is it a little pale? Maybe get out and enjoy the world a little or get back to work perhaps, be productive. Places like this ARE for newcomers, not regulars, you've got it confused, for people that pop in when they have issues with Klipsch speakers or other questions about them, not for people to park here and consider it their ground. If you want to b/s with other like minded people and you occasionally run into sometime with a different opinion go join a bowling league or to a dog park, to a local fall festival not sit on your back side snobbing on newcomers or looking for an area where you can feel superior because you can type a curse words, how old are y'all? seriously? Go read some of the "fun" crap you are typing and be ashamed of yourselves. I hope more of you are reported and even more banned, it's a Klipsch Speaker forum, if you get outside of that topic or purpose you have no business here anyway!! A lurking.. kinda newcomer! I have a really nice 100 watt SW- 12in. for sale if your interested. I have 2 other 300 watt 12hg's that compliment my RF3 & RC3-sII's very nicely. I don't see anything wrong with the Klipsch Synergy subwoofer line except they are not the most attractive things. Sent from my VS986 using Tapatalk

Yes indeedie, that is the little culprit in question and without it the feet to the speaker are useless and so is that mod that article is talking about. I need two of those little buggers and will gladly pay for four of them. An update since my last post. The last fellow I spoke to at Klipsch before writing my post here had quite arrogantly suggested I write someone at Klipsch that would care about that tiny little plug made in China that no one else but me gave a rats backside about. Earlier in my conversation with him I had managed to get his name the one he gave me at least) and what facility he was located at. Then I took him up on his advice and wrote a very nice letter (e-mail) to Mr. T Paul Jacobs, the CEO and all around head Grand Poobah at Klipsch from what I could find explaining my frustrations as asking to have someone if not himself point me in the right direction to get the part(s) I need. Today I got a call from Mr. Travis Turner, Product Support Manager from Klipsch. He could not have been nicer and apologized for "Steve's" triteness and also for the lack of support and parts for the Quintet Series IV speakers namely the little rubber plug. He offered as a fix to the problem that Klipsch would be sending me a brand new set of Klipsch Quintet speakers, their latest version which no longer uses feet and removes the need for the little rubber thingy that can no longer be found; explaining the new design would accommodate speaker stands easier than the older series Quintet speakers did. He is also refunding me the money I spent on the feet I originally bought in an attempt to fix my issue. I must say that is going above and beyond to make sure a customer is happy with your product even if it does not fix my problem of still needing the little rubber piece's for the Series IV's. It also more than makes up for Mr. Steve's phone eudicot or lack there of and has insured Klipsch has a customer for life in me. I wish to publicly thank Mr. Turner and Klipsch for the generous offer and let everyone here know that in my experience Klipsch is a company that cares that your happy with their product. I'm still in need of those little rubber buggers if y'all know where to get them. Joe

As suggested run your calibrations software in your receiver however do not rely on it completely if you are not happy. You may need to go in to speaker settings and tweak the volumes to your liking, also make sure the calibration software got the distances you are from the speakers correct. Lastly, what kind of speaker wire are you using? Is it all the same brand? Type?? You don't want copper clad aluminum (CCA) in your system at all if possible. If you have pure copper to your other speakers and ended up somehow with CCA for your center channel you would indeed need to turn the center volume up to match your other speakers as the copper clad aluminum speaker wire has more resistance than pure copper speaker wire.

Hello all, Im a brand newb. This my very first post so i appolgise if this post is in the wrong place or if I have violated a protocol written or unwritten in posting here, now. I have a set of Quintet Series IV speakers. If you were to take the feet off of them there is a little rubber stopper that fits in a hole in the speaker itself. Not sure what the true name of it is and cant get a part number online or from Klipsch. I need two of them. Why you ask? I also recently bought a Quintet SL set reeeaalll cheap. I was told by Klipsch that series three feet would fit the smaller satellite/surround speakers. Turns out so will the series IV feet. I wanted to keep the SL's together and mount the small surrounds on the wall so I took two of the feet off the series IV's little rubber stopper included and mounted them on the surrounds from the SL's and put them on the intended wall, all are working great. I now want to use the Series IV's with the feet on them. I called Klipsch and "bought" two feet, they did NOT come with the little rubber part that fits between the speaker and ball on the speaker foot. I called Klipsch and explained in detail about the rubber part, where it is located, what it does (supplies friction) and why I needed two of them and would like to "purchase" four of them if possible. (two for spare's). Klipsch in their arrogant wisdom send me four more Series IV Feet free of charge, with NO rubber part's for any of them. Once again calling Klipsch I am told Series IV Quintets are made in China and the part I am looking for is not available anywhere within the Klipsch company in the U.S. or China.. no kidding, he really said that. So now I find myself here, typing this and asking if anyone has or know where I can get these little rubber stoppers, sure I can and will probably jury rig something to work, they actually hold the speaker in place on the speaker foot buy supplying friction as so the speaker does not slip or otherwise move. I'd like to keep all original parts in the speakers if possible. I will gladly pay for these little rubber thingies if anyone has some they would like to part with or even trade them some Series IV feet for them, without the rubber part of course as I now have six Series IV feet and only need two.
