I have a pair of la scalas for sale. The previous owner added 1/4" thick mahogany strips, doweled in place, to the exterior. It looks fantastic, reminds me of an old criss-craft boat. They are consecutive serial numbers, 5N072, 5N073. $1250, pick up in eastern NC
