  3. Wondering if anyone is interested in trading these 1976 Quad ESL 57's (physically near mint/internally need attention) for some Klipsch Heritage line: Heresy, cornwall, lascala, belle, rf-7, chorus, forte, etc. Winner of auction did not send payment/pickup again in eBay and had to re-list (again 4/19), but open to trades/ offers. Im here in Miami, Florida 33190, if anyone interested let me know. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1976-Quad-ESL-57-Black-Maple-IN-FLORIDA-NO-SHIPPING-/152061169875?

  7. Thanks everyone for the info, it help get them out the door
  8. I just picked these for $20 BUCKS off a phone app like CL. They need a little TLC but 100% working order.
  9. Hi Mungkiman, The "F" is on the upper left side of both cabinets and USA is on the right of each cabinet. Woofers are K-33E x-overs are Type B-2, if that helps anyone. There are no velcro strips, as they have just received a face lift, so the grills have brand new cloth. The badges are also, not attached because, I didn't know if the new owner would want them attached or not ( they look so clean just plain). I can't add much pictures here they keep saying to large, but I added them to the CL posting, check them out there.
  10. Hi FJD, Thanks for the info, wish you could have written my post, LOL. The back of the Cornwall's have a distinct "F" stamped on the back. Perhaps you or one of the other Klipsch GURUs can educate me on what this represents, if not the year? Since, I thought this was the point of reference, as per to the year. You are correct that the horn is a K-51-V AND tweeter is a K-77-M, both in excellent working order. If anybody has any other questions, I can answer please ask away.
  11. I added more pictures here http://www.ebay.com/itm/NO-RESERVE-VINTAGE-1967-Klipsch-CORNWALL-S-F-stamped-with-Consecutive-s-/151983940803?hash=item2362f2e4c3:g:fZgAAOSwll1WwRsc
  12. http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/ele/5440427026.html If interested let me know more pictures will be added. These have been re-listed after complete cosmetic overhaul. Stained beautiful Walnut (C-Br) with upgraded grills (brass badges in great shape). I'm in Miami, Fl if anyone is interested.
  13. No Affiliation, thought somebody would appreciate the condition. I don't if the price is too much. http://www.ebay.com/itm/311535455906?_trksid=p2060353.m1431.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  14. @Pzannucci I understand, the Heresy's sitting on top are in perfect condition and I have a pair of Forte ii's (original Oak) listed for sale. http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/ele/5306918983.html Good Luck out there! -RC
  15. @jweber I was surprised that the Sansui could push both sets at the same time because most a/b speaker switches I've encountered on receivers never play at the same time. Currently I'm over saturated with Klipsch speakers and equipment, so I have to thin out the herd a little bit. I will be however replacing the Heresy's with Heresy ii's I picked up last week and hopefully I'll get Cornwall ii's to replace these Cornwalls. I'm really looking for a good price on RF-7ii but then I don't know what I'm going to do with my KSP-400's. Thanks for the look. -RC
  16. Hi Pzannucci, I'm the second owner, and they were originally C-BR (Raw Birch wood). The original owner had lightly used a ploy, which I didn't like because it seemed uneven applied. I was going to prime them and paint them piano black because the new style cloth looks so clean and nice on them. Yet, I decided to strip off the poly and sand it down with 220 grit and 440 grit sandpaper then stained them. The stain was not cherry, I think it was more red oak (I'll make sure this weekend). Currently no poly and no wax, yet the 440 grit made them smooth to the touch and the shine from the stain is pretty attractive. If their still here by next weekend, I'm going at them again and using a stain conditioner prior to stain for a nicer look. The imperfection is excess wood putty on the corner side cabinet placed by original owner. I was able to even it out a bit, but I think one more go will help it out. So, If they turn out better which I think they can, someone may get lucky or I might just keep them. Thanks for taking a look and I'll post a picture of the spot, in a few. -RC

  20. Thanks, I just got the Forte ii, and I tried to make them fit in the limited space. I'm using R-15m's for rears. They are hooked up to my Marantz, but it is way under powering these beasts.
