Just checked, $549. Amazon has it for $292 and another seller on amazon new for $324. I can't buy until Tuesday morning so I'll get it from them, unless I keep checking around. My local bestbuy doesn't have it.

If you haven’t already signed up for Fry’s promo codes I highly recommend you do. Just looking at their website you will never see the promo price. Only adding the promo code that you get in your email would you see the sale price. I picked up brand new RB61ii speakers for $199 including free shipping. If you are looking for new there aren’t many choices with this kind of “bang for the buck”.  These will also pair nicely with the RC62. If you are patient you should be able to find these at that price, or close to it, sometime in the future.

  2. If you are near a Fry’s Electronics you could pick up two RF 82II, an RC 62II and two RB 61II which would make a killer home theater set up for about $900 when found on promo code.

Starting today Fry’s has the RF 82II for $229 each and RB 61II for $199 a pair. These all go on promo code every so often occasionally with free shipping but mainly in store only.  You would need to sign up for their e-mails to get the promo code.

While not on promo currently the RC 62II has previously been on promo for as low as $134.

I asked the klipsch warranty info message line. They said they would honor the warranty on a discontinued item purchased from an authorized dealer... but that since it had been disco'ed and parts are not available, that I might give serious second thought about making the purchase.

    +1 for manufacturers honesty.

I'd still like to own one... maybe if it was around $400 shipped.

So I wonder what Klipsch would do if it was under warranty and needed a repair but that they couldn’t fix it because there were no parts.

Hmmm....I just order a pair of 61's but they wouldn't ship to my house. Said I had to pick them up......in Fishers, IN!

    .....still making the trip tonight.

RB61 back on sale for $199 with free shipping, I added to my cart and free shipping is there, at  least as of this moment. This is Fry’s promo for today only.

  5. I Googled the Gmail address and found an old car site in which this scammer was trying the same thing.

20/20 hindsight is easy but what legit person is really going to have an e-mail address that is essentially "pay me" (paygullecaline@gmail.com)?

Ha no missed it but i got the rc ii for a very good price center

I just looking for surrounds now

I find it odd the surround cost more than the front floorstanding lol

Fry’s has new RB61II for $199 with free shipping.  Need the promo code which you get when you sign up with your email. If you want them you got to act fast as they tend to sell out quickly

My wife and I stopped by Fry's yesterday since we were going near there anyway and the 115SW is HUGE! It's a lot larger than I even thought it was just comparing the physical dimensions to the 12W I have. She was NOT happy that I wanted to put this in the living room.

So your wife was not happy with the size of the 115SW but your other thread you just started says you now want to buy TWO of them?

  8. You want the best center possible for movies since that will be utilized the most out of your speakers. That said, the RP250C is the matched center for the RP150. It is also a much better center overall than the R25C. As said previously by dtr20, that is your better choice.

I have the RP160 and RP250C and am perfectly happy with them.

  9. Brand new?  If you were haggling that means a private party so used and no warranty. I don’t think these are even manufactured any more.

I still say say you are better off waiting for the sale at Fry’s for the R115 SW.  This sub was the replacement for the SW115. You’d get a brand new sub with full warranty at a great price.

  10. I think a more fair comparison would be the SB2000 to the R-112SW (I’ve got the SB2000). While I love the SB2000 it is more expensive than the R-112SW (and of course more expensive than the SB1000). If you can find the R112SW for a couple hundred buy it and try it. If you don’t like it you should be able to sell it rather easy.

Did you check other Fry’s around you?  If another store has the sub it might be worth an hour drive or so. If not, these do go on sale periodically so you might find this same sale in a month or so. Or better yet, you might find the R-115SW for $499, which I have seen too. That would be a great score.

Hello i want to buy a full 5.1.4 setup ( 280F , 250S and 450C plus 2RP 140 sa atmos).. any chance i can get a sub woofer for free??

Klipsch had a promo on their website during October for a free sub with qualifying purchase. With RP 280F purchase it was a R112SW sub for free. That promo is expired.

Find your best deal and buy a sub with the savings

Well I don't know because I can get the rc62ii and two rf 82ii for around 650 and that's the cost of just the rp450c and then around 1000 for the rp280fs my question is is last year's models just as good as the rp line because I can get it for so much cheaper.

If you are near a Fry’s Electronics they have this week the RC62II for $147 and RF82II for $198 each, all prices with their promo code. Great deal for brand new speakers, with warranty, for less than $550 total. Unfortunately in store only.

Seems like such an obscure product to scam on, also it was like he didn't even want to sell me them.

A few months back we seemed to have quite a few Klipsch Craigslist scammers popping up. This Craigslist ad doesn’t  match the M.O. though. Those wanted prospective buyers to email them outside of Craigslist, with a likely goal of having someone wire money to them. Not sure what is going on here.

A suggestion is to contact the seller on Audio Mart. He is located in TN. Did he sell these to a buyer in the Boston area?  If so then you likely have a legit Craigslist seller. If those same Klipsch ended up with his neighbor in TN then you have a Craigslist seller who took random photos off the internet and is pushing them off as his speakers and that is someone you should stay away from.

  14. Hijacked pictures including the “wrinkle”?  The fact that he describes a dust cap dent as a “wrinkle” and that he doesn’t know it is a Forte II suggests he may be a scammer who Is out to rob you of your money.

The other thought is that he doesn’t understand how to successfully flip. Maybe he bought them for $725 on Audio Mart and is flipping them for $450.

I cant find these on Craigslist. Are they still listed?
