  1. The deal was the 7th and 8th, posted in Alerts. However, late on the 7th they were still $199 but no longer showed with shipping as an option (in store only). We've learned that with Fry's you need to get an order in quick because they limit the number for the free shipping
  2. Unfortunately ad says no rain checks.
  3. I wonder if they reserve just a few for free shipping. I got the RB61's with free shipping but when I checked later the price was still $199 but the shipping was no longer an option. You could call with the the promo code and see if they honor the shipping
  4. Sorry, link below. Says good through 1/8 although states while supplies last. http://images.frys.com/art/email/010717_sat147hgf/sat_web.html?promocode=581530 promo codes are requied to drop the price from $329 to $199. Signing up for email notifications will get you promo codes with each daily and weekly promo. If you don't have one there is probably someone out there that isn't using theirs for that specific promo and can donate the code (Fry's says that is OK to do). My promo code code is listed in the link but I believe you can only use a code one time.
  5. Update - I picked up a new pair of RB61 ii with a Fry's promo for $199 shipped that I will try as surround. Figure at that price if I don't like it I can sell them and try something else. I will eventually get RP240S/250S to fill out the home theater.
  6. Promo worked successfully as I picked up a pair of RB61 II for $199 shipped to use at my surround. States open box. Went back in after my order and was able to add another pair at that price so they must have at least two pair (I didn't order a second pair).
  7. No affiliation. Single new RF82 II. Guessing here but this might be a $229 Fry's flip. http://newyork.craigslist.org/stn/ele/5946274073.html
  8. When I first logged into Fry's both RF82 and RC62 were available. I believe they have since sold out of the RC62 which is why it no longer shows. That said, the incorrect price showed for the RF82, showed only one could be purchased and it also said shipping wasn't an option. As we know the promo stated max 2 and free shipping as well. I didn't want it myself but if I did I would have called Fry's and ordered over the phone to ensure I got the deal. Was anyone out there successful in getting these including shipping?
  9. Fry's seems a little buggy with their promo codes. At this time it won't even let me enter the promo code. If if you seriously want it call them to have them place the order and reference the promo which is free shipping and the low price. If you need a promo code I am not using mine so you can have it 7153763. These codes are unique so it supposedly can only be used once.
  10. UPDATE as of Jan 1st Frys once again has the promo for both the RC62 and RF82. However, they are both now available online with FREE shipping! http://images.frys.com/art/email/010117_sun671ltc/sun_web.html?promocode=7153763
  11. I've got RP160's, RP250C, some cheap surrounds and an SVS SB2000. Love the RP160's. Listen a lot in 2 channel for music and the speakers sound much larger than they are. I would like to enhance the home theater. The sound stage is fine as-is. The sub is plenty loud enough for me. However, the current cheap surrounds cant keep up as I can barely hear them. Looking to the experts to see what you would recommend. My initial thoughts are another pair of RP160's for the rear. They would be placed about 5 feet behind the seating area. I was thinking maybe RP240S but I really don't have any space on the sides for proper setup. Plus, they are so expensive compared to bookshelves. So, do I get RP160's? If bipolar/dipoles do I look for an older reference, such as RS25 or RS35 instead of RP240/250S? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
  12. UPDATE as of Jan 1st Frys once again has the promo for both the RC62 and RF82. However, they are both now available online with FREE shipping! http://images.frys.com/art/email/010117_sun671ltc/sun_web.html?promocode=7153763 Fry's promo of the day. In store only, brand new $134 RC62II. If you are near a Fry's and they have them in stock a great deal. As of now, store in San Jose has them in stock. Didn't check any other stores. http://images.frys.com/art/email/123016_fri257mjr/fri_web.html?promocode=304657
  13. Seems like a good deal for brand new RF82ii for $229 each. Ad says limit 1 but I would think that is one PAIR. Today, in store only with promo code. You get promo codes for signing up for email notifications.
  14. I've got RP160s and an RP250C. I have a chance to get KSB 3.1 for $80. Would you recommend these for surround duty or is there something better I should consider (something good performance/price wise)? Thanks in advance.
  15. The scammer is persistent as he posted the Palladiums again http://tippecanoe.craigslist.org/ele/5657267826.html Anyone make contact with him? Wonder how he plans on scamming the buyer unless it is the old fashioned beat 'em up and take the money.
  16. The loser is back at it..... http://tippecanoe.craigslist.org/ele/5651186744.html

    Our Indy friend?

Judge Judy would have a field day with this guy. SHE should be the special assigned judge and it should be on TV.
  18. Listing removed so likely sold
  19. This is the same guy who had them on eBay. They sold for $800 but the buyer must have changed his mind. They are relisted. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/162499-modded-rf-7-with-3-sweet-tweeters-added/ The guy says he used to be a repair tech for a high end stereo shop.
  20. It's a scam. Here is the legit ad. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/ele/5538314464.html
  21. Maybe if it came with the picture in the background.....
  22. I've got a rather large basement room and the SB 2000 can still rattle the windows if I want it too.
  23. https://utica.craigslist.org/ele/5505993481.html I knows it's CL, but if he's willing to take $800, then why have the $1000 on the heading?Maybe someone should invite the seller over to the Klipsch forum so he can put them up in the Garage Sale section - for $600. Was probably originally listed for $1,000. On March 28th the posting was updated, likely to drop the price as it states $800 in the body of the ad but the seller likely forgot to update the heading.
  24. Has anyone initiated contact with the "seller"? I would assume that they have some story that would require them sending you a bogus check for a significant amount over the $125 and want you to send them legit $$ for the difference - all without seeing the speakers.
