SOLD Nice Marantz pair . 1060 integrated cap coupled nice warm sound. These are great with Klipsch speakers. Amp was checked out by a tech less than a year ago only thing that was replaced was the bridge rectifier. Tuner hasn’t been checked out, but works well fm stereo light is out. Will ship, would like to keep set together.

These came on a set of horns that I bought a while back, I don’t know what they came out of, but apparently are used In klf series speakers. Maybe others can fill in what I’m missing. Anyway I just tested them and they’re working. Both read 11.5ohms. $200 obo shipped non-1099 payment please.

This is a vintage thx subwoofer, 15” beefy woofer, 15” passive, amp works but I don’t completely understand how it all works since it doesn’t have a crossover built in. Cabinet is rough. I would sell the whole unit for but no shipping…it’s BiG! would sell the woofer and passive for plus shipping, not sure about the amp, message me if interested and for any pics.

Gaskets are a good start. I’ve actually never seen totally deteriorated gaskets, but I’ve read others have. Hopefully that fixes it.

Whoa! I had to read back thru to remember what I was doing at this point in history. So I don’t remember giving the k55v on adapters enough listening time to give a review. What I ended up with is a pair of (I think) k-301 horns which are pretty much identical to k-61 horns except they are threaded and the k55v mounts right up. I really like them in this setup and believe that there was a definite improvement. I would think something is wrong with your k55 if they sound bad, possibly diaphragms, but idk, I think Crites talked about this topic some on his website. I’m not sure if you want to throw parts around, but I’d say leave your quartets as they are since you’re happy with them. Investigate the k55 to see what might be wrong with them. Have you heard other Heresy you liked? Maybe that sound isn’t for you? Also, what are you driving them with? Mark
