  1. I feel like they were priced to sale quick. Coulda asked for more and probably got it but, they’d moved slower. My closing is in a few weeks so I didn’t have time on my side. Thanks guys!
  2. These were built by a forum member, he is an incredible woodworker. They have all the C components, jbl tweeters, selenium mid driver and crites cast frame woofer. I’m dramatically downsizing homes and can’t imagine sticking these in storage. These will come with the crites xovers. They are currently on casters but come with floor spikes also. No grills but they are available from crites. Since I’ve owned them I pulled the crossover off the back of the cabinets and doubled the back panel up. I will sell to a forum member for $1600 drop to $1500. I’m just west of Atlanta. Thanks for looking and I hope someone can enjoy these. Considering trades now, I have to be out of my house by the 1st of March. I will consider trades for high end tube amps, big vintage receivers or big vintage amps. Nothing that needs repair and No Chinese stuff, no offense! Please don’t low ball me. If your gear is worth less throw some cash with it. If it’s worth more I’ll throw some cash with it. Thanks, Mark
  3. I have a set of walnut Cornscala c that I plan to sell soon. Moving from a 3000sqft house on a basement to a 1000sqft condo! 😩. May not be what you’re looking for or may not be in your budget. Pm me if you have any interest. Glwys. Thanks, Mark

Yes, another member expressed interest but, then disappeared. Where are you located?

Surprised there is no interest in these parts. I guess onto the bay they go.

All parts are removed from a working kg4 in incredible condition. Had trouble selling the speaker together because of shipping weight. I’ve been reluctant to part out but you know what they say, it is what it is. Sold the woofers, but these are still available. Sold (1) k-74-k complete with horn. $35, I’ll cover the shipping. Sold (1) kd-12 passive woofer $30, you cover the shipping. (1) black grill cover with badge black magnet retainers, no rips, holes or stains. $20 you cover the shipping. (1)oak riser only minor wear. $20 you cover the shipping. (1) input crossover terminal cup, recapped with Dayton polys and electrolytic. $30 I’ll cover the shipping. I’ll probably be posting these on the bay soon, let me know if there is anything you’re interested in and we can get a shipping estimate together. Thanks, Mark
  7. Drop to $500 and let’s talk shipping.
  8. Now I had thought about it being out of a speaker lab. But wasn’t sure what they used for drivers.
  9. Well those are definitely similar in the roughness factor but, mine has screws around it where these don’t.
  10. Yes, it’s a spare I picked up. It has had a rough life, 😂. Tests good though. Can’t see it once it’s in the cabinet anyway. No evidence of a sticker.
  11. So most likely a Klipsch branded k55 made by Atlas?
  12. I’m hoping you guys can help me identify if these are Klipsch k55v or something else like an Atlas. h
  13. These are mine actually. Thanks for posting them here. To be clear there is one of each speaker. Thought about parting these out but hate to because both cabinets are in great shape. Mark
  14. Arrrhhh! Hard to pass on this deal!
  15. Not me. Whoever bought them did me a favor.
  16. Great, I’ll order some up and give it a go. Thank for all the help.
  17. Perfect. Those are some that I ran across this am that I thought might work. Parts express has several options too. So you just drilled the 4th hole in these and the other 3 lined up? Did you notice a sound improved from k61 to the k55?
  18. Thanks Bob. Ok I’ll do that. Do you have these adapters? I couldn’t find them on your website.
  19. I specifically asked about the crossovers but he had no idea what they were. They are definitely new to him. He said he just came across them. I need another set of big speakers like I need a hole in my head but, I’d pay the 700 for them but, I’m not gonna beg the guy.
  20. So there is tons of adapters out there, some have great reviews and some have terrible reviews. Can anybody tell me the best adapter to mount my new to me k-55v drivers onto my k-61-k horns? I’m dying to hear these so I want to throw them in my chorus ii. I’m collecting parts to put a parted out pair of Cornwalls that a friend gave me back together that I plan on using these in eventually. From my little understanding of crossovers the chorus ii mid starts around 600hz so the k-55 should be a good match for the horns and crossover. So please help with a bolt on screw on adapter to make this work. Also I’m sure this has been answered before but, I wasn’t able to find it so don’t yell at me please!😁 Thanks.
  21. Talked to the seller yesterday. He was a bit short with me, told me he’d meet me for a drive fee. Talked to him later and he said he wouldn’t drive to meet me, then he said I was like seventh in line. They seem like a great deal, what’s your reason for thinking they wouldn’t sell for this price?
