  1. So is the general consensus bi-amping isn't worth the doing? I've pondered doing it, but never tried
  2. I've always loved my pro media 2.1's. Great product, and even better for the price. I did catch myself wanting more from them so I just doubled up and ran two pairs on my laptop. Problem solved . Been running it this way for a few years now.
  3. Yeah that's a tough experience. I have had a few issues regarding my promo codes not working. The big thing I don't care for is that frys stores and frys.com are like two separate operations. I've bought from frys.com before and needed to make a return, but They wanted me to ship it back because I couldn't return it it in store which makes no sense. At least that's how it is here in so cal. But ordering with frys is typically smooth
  4. This post was everything I needed to help understand my current battle with my 5.2 HT. Is it weird that I swap back and forth between the large and small setting for my r-26f's. I usually run them at large when I watch movies/tv at low to mid volume and set to small when I really turn it up.
  5. I've ordered often from frys and really never had any issues. Whenever there's an inventory issue, I just call before I waste a drive.
  6. Wow!! Very nice, anxious to see the final verdict.
  7. Yeah I guess ignorance is bliss sums up my question lol. Thanks for the help fellas...
  8. uThat pretty much much sums up what I was thinking. Thank you
  9. Wish I could've found a deal like that. I wanted the r25c to match my r-26f's when I bought them, but ended up with the rp250c because it was on sale cheaper than the r25c. Let's just say I can't wait to swap my r-26f's to rp250f's or rp260f's soon.
  10. Hi, new guy here with his second post. I run two R-12sw subs with my 5.2 system. My question is what are the thoughts on these subs? I looked to see if I could find any thoughts or reviews on here but didn't notice any. What are your thoughts? What's the good and bad with these? I ended up paying $450 for both of them from frys. Just curious if you guys think there was something noticeably better I could've bought with that $450. They are much much better than the two 10" polk subs I ran with my pervious Sony home theater. Just looking for thoughts. Thank you.
  11. yThank you for that read. It was extremely helpful and helped me understand what I needed to do to fix my issue. Thanks!!
  12. I'll definitely browse through it. Thank you
  13. I have some more work to do. Thank you
  14. Thanks. I've been moving the subs around a lot trying to find the right spot. I'm assuming that part of my problem is my TV is corner caddied and my center and front towers are also set up that way. I'm glad that it's a placement issue more than it being a user issue. Thank you
  15. Hello all. New to the forum and happy to be here. I'm running two r12-sw subs, each placed in a corner opposite of eachother. At one point I had them both in the same corner and they would just pound my house, but there were some dead spots that didn't get that some thump. So I put both subs in there own corner which is why I bought a serving sub in the first place. The sound, sounds ok. It doesn't have that same hard thump when they were together. The sound really comes alive when I switch the phase on one sub. But the downfall is that there is a dead zone in the middle area of the two subs. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated .thank you
