  1. New pictures of CES in the blog. http://www.klipsch.com/blog/klipsch-ces-2017-recap/
  2. Forte's were what I wanted 6 months ago. I didn't have any used Forte's in my area to listen to. So I bought Heresy III's instead. All I see is good reviews on the older Forte's Looks like I'll be saving $3600 to buy these in cherry. After that.......I'm done!!!......Hopefully.
  3. Sorry, I guess that is just cherry. I couldn't tell at first if it was cherry or walnut due to lighting. Looking at the grain, I guess it's cherry.
  4. Powered speakers, Demi, The Two, The Six, and the already released The One and The Three. The Demi has a bass port on back for $199. Good looking Bluetooth speakers
  5. YouTube of Forte III in cherry or walnut. Like the look
  6. Another YouTube of Forte III in walnut or cherry.

  8. In video for RF-7III , he comments on a new 15" sub with wood finishes to match the RF-7III finishes.
  9. RF-7 III YouTube video up

  12. Try this https://dtv98j71ej9a1.cloudfront.net/Sites/Klipsch/Solutions/Klipsch+kmc1+Battery+Replacement.pdf. It's on the support tab at klipsch.com
  13. Acoustic Sound Design. Major thumbs up. Always call or use the chat feature on their website for the best price. I have bought speakers and receiver from them. Fast shipping. Never had an issue. Probably placed 5 or 6 orders thru them.

    What I Got Today!

Klipsch "The One" Heritage Wireless. Looks good, sounds good.
  15. I received The One from UPS today. Used the bluetooth and also tried a Chromecast Audio plugged into the aux port. Naturally, the Chromecast sounded clearer and more defined. The One really looks good, the wood is exactly what I wanted. I choose the Ebony finish to match the woodwork on the furniture in the bedroom. The grill material is similar to the material on my Heresy. Sounds really good for a bluetoooth speaker. It sounds similar to the KMC-1, but with more bass. Just received it, so I expect it to sound better once I get a few hours on it. Think I'll be happy with my purchase.
  16. ABT has the One in stock. Just ordered a ebony one or a ebony One..... Wish it had the white grill shown at CES.... but it will work with the woodwork in my bedroom.....
  17. I cant find it either. They have it on ABT's website, but it says not in stock yet. The Three is on Crutchfield, ABT, and One Call as being available. But I want the One to replace the KMC-1 in my bedroom. It looks better. I'll hook up a Chromecast Audio to it. I don't need all the options on the Three. I have the KMC-1 and the KMC-3. I've had them for a couple years. I have the 3 at work and it rocks . A lot of people want one at work. I tell them it's discountinued, but sometimes they pop up on amazon. But I bought them on Woot, they were listed as refurbished. So I guess they're fixed. Paid 100 for the 1 and 125 for the 3. Thought it was worth a shot. However, I wouldn't touch the Stadium. You can read way too many issues with it. I'm hoping they have the issues resolved.
  18. I have a Roku 3 that I used prior to getting the Sony. I use the Android built in to take advantage of the UHD programming on Netflix and Amazon Prime. The Roku 3 doesn't support UHD programming. Roku recently came out with a new model that supports UHD programming i agree, the Roku is pretty awesome with more choices, and by by the way....Awesome Setup!!! Looks fantastic and I'm sure it sounds great!
  19. I had an older Yamaha that didn't have an internet connection. It had Bluetooth and I had a phone that supported APT-X (a samsung). I upgraded to a RXA1050 which allowed me to connect my iPad thru AirPlay. There was a difference vs. streaming via Bluetooth. I also didn't like the pure direct due to it not providing a signal to my subwoofer, even though I had speaker size set to small.I've had a Maverick DAC MAGIC, trying to get the sound I wanted. i have since got a Denon AVR-4200 , last years model discounted, which I like better than the Yamaha. It has more of the options I wanted. By a slim margin I preferred the Denon. Might be the Audyssey
  20. To those that were so kind to respond last August to my post, I thought you all may be interested to know that I've completed the transition to a new TV including mounting it on the fireplace. I ended up purchasing a SonyXBR65X850D 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD. I think it looks good where it's mounted and overall it works with the rest of the room. The picture quality is real good, it's for sure an upgrade over the the previous Sony 55". I went with the Sony XBR because it was on sale, the store paid the sales tax and purchasing it at the time was convenient. I'm sure the Samsung that I was going to purchase at Costco would have been fine, but it cost $500 more. The actively crossed Belle center channel parked on the hearth does a good job with nice clear dialogue and the spot is ideal because of the elevated height. I'm a happy camper http://www.sony.com/electronics/televisions/xbr-x850d-series Congrats, I have the 2015 version (850C). Looks like is a couple hundred less than I paid. A year in, and I'm still impressed. The google "smart" TV aspect is one of the best I've used. Enjoy!
  21. If you get the Denon, run the HDMI cable from your cable or satellite box into the HDMI in on the receiver, then another out to the TV. Then if you run the TV's google apps, you'll need to run an optical cable from the tv back to the receiver. The nice thing is as you switch on the tv remote from the cable box to the TV's app, the receiver will automatically switch sources. Get your HDMI and optical cables from Amazon. No need to pay an outrageous price for those
  22. I have the same TV. It is a 2015 model so I hope you're getting a good discount. It's a good TV. Go to AVS forums a try out some of the color setting there. It has a good picture. I have a Denon AVR-X4200. I have the receiver hooked up to the ARC HDMI, so I can control the receiver from the TV remote. This receiver also has Audyssey Platinum DSP Suite, which is the top consumer form of Audyssey out there. It also has DTS:X and Dolby Atmos for movies. Happy with the way it works for music and movies. Since it is last years model, I picked it up online for $750 out of Las Vegas. Its will go up to a 5.2.2 system and will handle 5.2.4 or 7.2.2 with an external amp handling the extra two channels. I had a DAC for music, but I'm liking the internal DAC in the receiver better for music.
  23. Right now, I would not buy a Samsung product.. if they would have fixed a known problem with the undersized capacitor, they might have been able to get a few more $$$ from me. A shame, because they do make some good looking, advanced products. i read about the Onkyo receiver problems with the HDMI when I was in the market. I was cautious and did not buy one of their receivers. After I bought a receiver, they started extending their warranties. I may have looked at their stuff if they would have extended their warranties sooner. I've spent enough money on this hobby, I'm cautious and look for reliably issues before I buy anymore.
  24. I haven't done any soldering in 40 years and it looked like crap then. The internet talked like it was easy, but I had no confidence in my skills. I called a repair place, they wanted $150 for the job. It was a 43" and I wanted bigger anyway. I liked the picture on the 65"Samsung when I went out shopping, but I couldn't shell out that much money on a Samsung again. If they would have honored an issue that they knew about, I might have got a Samsung. The picture on the Sony and the Samsung are comparable. Now that I have it, the Sony smart tv app is much better than the Samsung. Hopefully, I won't have any issues with the Sony.
