  1. Didn't think about zone 2. Brilliant. I think I'll do that. Thanks!!
  2. I am in a slippery slope. I want, I want, I want I currently have RF 280F's, RF 450C, RP140s-SA, and using RP150M as surrounds. I have been craving some Heresy's. Will Heresy's match up with the 450 center and a R-112SW? Will the Heresy be ok with a Yamaha RX-A1050? I've read Heresy's prefer tubes. I'm about 50% music and 50% movies/TV. Would the Hersey's make a big difference in what I'm hearing. I feel the need to experiment, so much good is written on the Heresy's. There are no stores near that sell Heresy's for me to try out.
  3. I am the only one in this household. I plan on filing a claim. The only issue is my receipt was for RF-260F not RF-280F's. They told me to keep them because of the price difference would not cover the shipment of two 65 pound boxes across the country and the shipment of the correct speakers back to me. Yeah, I got a deal....
  4. I don't have a clue what happened. I do not abuse my speakers I am very proud of the way they sound and look. I am very careful around them. I want to keep them good. I'm nearing retirement and I have to take care of what I have. No pets, kids are grown up, no grandkids yet, didn't drop anything on them. Where the dents are, something would have to be thrown into them. I can assure everyone that did not happen. Really like my speakers. I'm just very disappointed this happened.
  5. The cone is NOT mechanically connected to the magnet except by the foam surround, right? I'm guessing a crash (dropping the speaker) could cause this problem? If this was true, they couldn't be shipped. I helped the UPS guy take them off the truck. They were flat in the truck. And I'm sure bouncing around all day in the truck ( I was his last delivery of the day, about 6pm). And I don't know how they were shipped across the country.
  6. I've had bunches of Klipsch speakers over the last 10 years after upgrading time and time again. Never seen this. Was hoping this was my last upgrade and wanted to keep them looking good. Crap, I just don't know how it happened. I don't really crank them up much
  7. Grizzly : Did not notice when I got them.. Coytee: no pets.. They sound fine... Guess I'll just live with it. Disappointed.. Just strange the OP had some, now I do too.
  8. Had a friend over showing off my speakers. Took the grill off and three dents in the bottom of my RP-280F. Same as the OP. Just bought in January. No kids, no pets. Grills have always been on except when showing the copper to people.
