Why am I thinking this is either a price misprint or a scam? Hmm.

Honestly, I've never compared the 2 models. I have the klf30s in my home theater and haven't done much stereo listening with them.
Thanks for the reply. GLWTS!

Those look great! I see in your sig you have KLF-30's. In your experience, how do they compare? Thanks!

Yea, that's the one thing about Decware. They have a lot of hum issues. I messed around with their phono stages and couldn't get rid of the hum nor could the owner of it. Also, the youtube guys have been asleep for years on testing Decware. Wasn't until those reviews came out that customers were on this absurd 2 year waiting list. I sold my Zen and haven't looked back after receiving my modified ST35 and ST70. Decware are nice amps but there's other great amps out there too without these hum issues.
And probably less expensive also. I had a ST70 for a few years and never had any hum issues.

650$ a pair
Where does one buy a pair of these?

Where are you located and how much are you asking?

Welcome.
Because we like to look at our glowing tubes or blue meters. Just esthetics, nothing more. Never understood why people put monoblock amps directly on the floor either.
As you surmise, an additional 6', 10', even 25' will make no audible difference.
I think you will see more and more move their racks to the side to make room for the new Heritage Sub that's been announced to sit up front with their Heritage speakers.
Welcome to the Forum.
Travis
Agreed! However, if running a Heritage center speaker (e.g. La Scala) in a Home Theater setup, one might consider two of the new Heritage subs to give a more balanced aesthetic! 😉

After spending the past year looking for a single used La Scala to use as a center channel in our home theater, I was lucky to find a pair of La Scalas (1978) for sale locally this past weekend at a great price.
Overall, they are in average cosmetic condition and the drivers seem to work as they should. Regarding cosmetics, there are some chips and marks in the veneer on the edges and top plate. Also, they appear to be stained a dark walnut color. I believe they were originally raw birch based on the unfinished sections inside the bass bin cavity as well as looking up information on the serial numbers. This is something that I’ll have to remedy sooner than later because the contrasting colors stand out.
Any ideas on what to do regarding the finish for someone who doesn’t have wood working or wood finishing skills? Painting black maybe? Are there vinyl wraps that could work and look nice?
As far as the crossovers, do they need to be replaced and/or updated? The tweeters are the DE-120 and I have the originals also.
Any other ideas or suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks!

@PrestonTom Thank you for your reply. Good news! This weekend I saw a FB ad for a "vintage stereo package" that included a set of La Scalas located a mere 45 minutes from me in Virginia Beach and reasonably priced. Reached out and now they're in my garage! They'll need a little cosmetic work but they work great for now. I'll post some info and pics in the larger forum.

H.T. is in the main living space and looks will matter, unfortunately. Ideally, I'd locate a La Scala (or a pair) that needs some cosmetic and/or other work and priced accordingly. I could re-veneer or paint them as well as fix any issues with operation. I did have one lined up at the end of last year but that fell through after waiting a few months.

Don’t have a La Scala. This would be the center between my 1985 walnut oil Khorns.

Thanks for the link! Would the Belle work as well as a La Scala in the center position as far as timbre matching?

Still looking 😉

Yes thinking Dean has had contact with OP... guess.
What??? Why would you assume that? What did I miss here?

You have lost your mind if you get rid of those and you still have the space to keep them…. Newer and smaller does not equal better even with a sub. There’s a reason in Heritage sought after.

yes it will , as we speak , the O.P is realising that his Chorus II do not sound like klipsch Chorus II because the networks or capacitors are aftermarkets , he can install new klipsch parts to restore the klipsch sound or he can purchase a used set of Chorus II crossovers
Oh! Didn't get from their post that this is a "Klipsch sound" issue. From the O.P.'s title and post I thought they were talking primarily about potentially downsizing from Heritage to another Klipsch line.
O.P., please weigh in and reply.

@Deang can rebuild you some brand new klipsch Chorus II crossovers with all new klipsch parts , send him a PM
Would that result in an improvement in sound quality for the O.P.?

Two original Klipsch K-77 tweeters without lenses. Lenses were sold separately. These came as extras with a pair of 1976 Klipschorns I purchased earlier this year. I haven't tested them but previous owner indicated they did work when he removed them. $75 + shipping/fees.

Could I see enlarged photos of the speakers? Any letter reference as in K-33-(E) (J) (P)? Did these come out of Cornwall speakers? Are these 4 ohm? email me at rbragg@asis.com or call 707-923-1170 if you like. What do you think shipping will cost? Richard
These are K-33P woofers that came out of a pair of 1976 Klipschorns I purchased earlier this year from the original owner. The original owner had replaced all the drivers and crossovers a number of years ago and these along with other items came with the sale. I'll reach out.
