Selling my Denon POA-1500 stereo power amplifier which is in very good condition. I purchased this seven years ago from the original owner. Unit was previously serviced and the large capacitors were replaced at that time. This is a great sounding and performing amplifier that is rated at 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Everything works on it and it is beautiful to look at, especially with the meters bouncing. There are some minor blemishes on the sides. The only flaw is a chip on the left inside flange of the front glass panel, which isn't visible unless you're looking for it. It's very difficult to see due to the black background behind the glass panel, even when the meters are lit up. I tried to show it in one of the photos (left side closeup) but it's so subtle the camera wouldn't capture the detail. After some research I believe the glue holding the glass to the metal faceplate gave way during shipping and the glass bounced around inside the amplifier causing the chip. I repaired it by removing the rest of the old glue and using hot glue to re-attach the glass to the metal faceplate. Includes the original box and manual. Features: Output peak level meters, switchable sub-sonic filter, normal and high-cut input jacks, self diagnosis indicators, 2 sets of speaker outputs, input level controls. $625 + Shipping and Fees (PP). I purchased it from a friend about a month ago to finally experience a higher end phono cartridge. It sounded awesome just like the reviews indicate. I've since decided to move away from vinyl and focus on bettering my streaming setup and the convenience it offers. I purchased these decks from the original owner about six years ago with the intention of setting them up in my system, buying some RTR tapes and experiencing an RTR deck for the first time in my over forty years in the Hi-Fi hobby. Well, it never happened and, realizing that it probably never will, I've decided to sell them. Note that my knowledge of RTR decks is limited to what I've researched online and have never used these decks other than to test the basic functions . The Revox A77 MKIV deck is in very good (9/10) cosmetic condition. Functionally, it powers on and the motors/spindles respond when the play, fast forward, rewind, pause and stop buttons are activated. Record function has not been tested. The Revox includes the original box, Revox aluminum NAB Hub adapters with silver trumpets, and a power cord. The Akai GX-270D deck is in very good (9/10) cosmetic condition. SOLD I purchased these speakers from a forum member a couple of years ago because they were highly rated by members of many forums and they did not disappoint. I'm only selling because they've been replaced with Klipschorns. These speakers were manufactured in 1980 and have the original factory applied Mahogany finish. They are structurally solid and sound awesome, with no sidewall resonance. They do have a few minor chips and scratches that gives them a tremendous amount of character. The grills are in excellent condition with Jubilee pie badges and the factory installed black Heritage grill cloth. Drivers: Crite's CT120 tweeters and A55G midrange, K33E square magnet woofers. New mid-driver horn O-rings. All drivers are fully functional. Crossovers: ClarityCap CSA capacitors, AA mod, 13uf to 6.8uf, tap 4 to tap 3 on TA2 autoformer - taming the midrange. The mid horns have been damped with Dynamat which was applied over blue painters tape so the Dynamat is easy to remove, if desired. These work great with tube amplifiers and solid state gear. $2800.
