  1. My room is 6 meters wide and 6 meters long with high ceilings and where I sit is a Bass dead point! When I walk out of the room the base actually hits me. Never mind that the windows and actually the whole house have the deep bass vibrations! The klipsch are played with a pair of Mission 770S in series. The missions are now laying sideways flat on top of the Klipsch. Somehow they work out fantastic! Now , somehow to move the bass dead point.
  2. The current set up. A bit of a compromise as the wall unit is 6 mtrs wide and this is a bit to wide. Have the mission 770S playing in tandem with the Klipsch and the overall sond stage is supreme! Brittish bland with USA Bland = sound heaven for this chappie!
  3. Just leave them standard These speakers are just the best sounding speakers and can be driven by low power amps. Here is my set up, (Grills removed) second set that do play simultaneously are Mission 770S
  4. Anyone got an electrical schedule for a Goldring SÄ 60 Solid State Amplifier please. Just rescued this from the graveyard bin. Switched it on and it blew the .7 amp fuse. Fuse seems the right value, 240V 130watts. Like to repair this old SS amp.
  5. Same here! about 2 weeks ago a friend of mine put on some vinyll at his place! Well mthat got me thinking! Out came the Turntable and a, new / old 30 odd years sitting new in a cupboard, Empire LTD500 in a Toshiba TT arm and off we went! Bought last week a B&O 6000 linear TT and got a B&O 2400 TT into the repair Que! Have not watched any TV for 2 weeks just spinning my long lost favorites! Been looking out for Vintage equipment and so far a set of Mission 770S, a Pioneer ST100 TT and a Goldring Solid State SA60 amplifier are inside! ready to be put into action! The Missions are now paired up with the Cornwalls! The overall sound is amazing! Happy days indeed! Picture is the B&O 6000 and a Cybernet CR110 receiver
  6. Good day all. Thank you for adding me to this forum. I live in Australia and have owned a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls serial # 13 and 14 (hand written on the back Klipsch sticker in blue ink. Serial sticker lists Type; Cornwall Serial; 013 & 014 Inspected (signed) J Di Ryan Tested; (signed) N.Gallop. Some numbers inside; (off #014.) ((I had to open this in 1994 to replace a part Coil /transformer/choke) The service from Klipsch was excelent! and the speakers are still working perfectly)) 2304 8304 Network Klipsch Balancing Network Type B3 Horn Mid tweeter; K 52 H Horn Tweeter back plate # 811 14 824 0137 Woofer K33E 678316 My question is when was this set of speakers made? I bought these second hand in a little audio store here in Perth around 1992. Kind regards Bert
