I switched from Tidal to Amazon HD Music and will not be going back.
The Amazon Music interface is terrible. I couldn't ever get used to it. SQ was great but I just couldn't get over the usability.

I REALLY wish I had the time for a road trip!

Bump firing is not the same thing as full auto. Each round fired still requires a pull of the trigger. It does not allow the gun to fire multiple rounds with one trigger pull. Whether or not bump stocks should be legal is an entirely different discussion from banning all semi-auto weapons. My favorite plinking gun of all time is a semi-auto rimfire .22.

Prices in Arkansas are usually sky high unless it's a forum member's listing, IMO.

That's awesome... I don't think I can be that serious but its great to see
It's taken my lifetime to collect it all. Definitely didn't happen overnight. A good lot of it was purchased when silver was below 10 bucks, what seems like a lifetime ago now.

Been stacking since 1st birthday when my great grandfather started me out with a Morgan silver dollar. I'm 45 now. This chest has various types of silver bars, including a couple of Britannia bars, various coins, rounds and 90% constitutional silver (mercury dimes, walkers, etc). It weighs around 44 lbs. The box was made by a family friend 30 years ago for my grandmother who passed 5 years ago. The extra special stuff is in a safe deposit box. I figure to pass it on to my kids.

Let's not even get started with Google classroom and the early indoctrination of our grade school and middle school children. It's very scary stuff!

It's like paying sales tax at a yard sale. I've mostly given up on eBay due to the tax structure.

Looking good now. Very nice. I noticed them on the local CL earlier in the week. GLWS!

Fisher 500c.
Mmm, nice. I've wanted one for a while but I'm always too slow when on the rare occasion an already restored one comes available here. I'm sure you'll enjoy the inspire. I've heard one with the lp preamp at a buddy's house a couple of years ago running on some flavor of vintage Altec speakers. It has a very nice voice!

Tedeschi Trucks Band playing now and it's syrupy sweet!

Last night I got around to changing the tap to 3.
Being evening I was doing low level listening to a couple of my favorite sit back with a drink albums, Nat King Cole's Penthouse Serenade and Sonny Rollins Saxophone Colossus. Both sounded nice and even but no vocals.
Today I've returned to Samantha Fish, The Black Crowes and even a little AC/DC, although I usually save the rock for our KLF30's or RF7's. Big difference and all it took was making a small change.
Thanks again to all who offered their guidance and suggestions especially the network builder Dean!
Now we can listen and form a more informed opinion about which network we prefer. If it turns out to be the AA then perhaps I'll undertake building a scratch AA network. I work in the electrical industry and understand circuits, impedance, etc but that is applied only to the 60Hz electrical system but I can follow a schematic. I'm not an electrician but work in a control room for a local RTO holding a NERC Reliability certification. Application of these principles in the audio reproduction realm is something I'm still learning.
I went ahead and dove in a bit further and got in touch with DaveA and ordered a pair of MAHL v2 lenses and DE120 tweets. I've hesitated to make any changes since there were my step dad's who purchased them new in Hope in '77. They were our first bonding experience and continued to be all the way through his battle with lung cancer, he was not a smoker BTW. He wanted to be sure that they came home with me because we always, always had them playing. Anyway, I decided since none of these changes are permanent to go ahead and give it a chance. I feel like he would have been on board with the experimentation.

No confusion here. That chart is for the original 3619 not the -ET version. I haven't been home to change anything yet but will report back when I do.

Since this build isn't pushing 10 watts the response of the Hammond looks very respectable. Would different iron make that much difference in this configuration?
This is the frequency response George found at 1 watt. "Specs at 1 watt: frequency response is 11.7Hz to 42.9KHz with 50mA"
