    Hello Fizik, Do you still have the original/appropriate boxes and packaging set for these Quartet ? If yes, would you consider to ship them internationally ? To make it short : I am living in Cambodia, I therefore need good technical condition as no repair is possible, I don't mind so much on small cosmetics, I was more looking for Forte (seems to be the best ones according my sound tastes, and current budget ...) but Quartet are fine and not far from Forte, only the strong little brother, and should be on top easier and less expensive to ship ... Let me know your feeling on this, cheers.

    Some more information for those living in South East Asia Official Klipsch dealer in Bangkok - Thailand (the closest to me) R-15PM two powered speakers 50wpc plus R-10SW powered sub-woofer : 1,000 US$ (If I give up I will go for this ... money capability ...) Cornwall III new : 7,500 US$ Heresy III new : 3,100 US$ Plus shipping costs (not so much as it is ''only'' 1,000km) These information maybe make it more clear why I try so hard to buy used Klipsch speakers heritage series in USA and try to ship them to Cambodia ...

    For those who share kind of same situation ''isolated area'' and maybe for me if I didn't succeed in getting some vintage speakers, the alternative, as proposed by pbphoto, light weight sound system, even I have some doubt on the equivalent sound ''presence'' as I am looking for some Forte II, to catch the same range of low and high with still half of the power but you get an integrated amp in addition, as R-15PM two powered speakers 50wpc plus R-10SW powered sub-woofer (as total on paper : range bandwidth : 34hz to 20khz (as the forte ii) ) Cost in Klipsch official dealer at Bangkok Thailand around 900$ US, plus in my case around 150$ US shipping Hope this could be useful for some South East Asian which are looking for Klipsch sound system setup

    Hello, Klipsch speakers pack in Canada : 2 Forte II + 2 Quartet + 1 KLF C-7 = around 1150 USD !!!! http://www.kijiji.ca/v-speakers/markham-york-region/klipsch-forte-ii-quartet-and-klf-c-7/1198178476 I am a bit far from these, goods are in Canada and I am in Cambodia, a lot too much stuff to ship, otherwise I would have gone there to buy the pack straight away ... If good condition what a deal !! Enjoy for the ones who can reach the goods ;-)

    Hello and Thanks for the advice Indeed you re right, but I mainly have the choice between option 1 to risk a small 1,000 usd for forte II ground postal shipping (knowing that cosmetic things don't affect me so much, I am more worried about the technical working part) option 2 I can warranty my used forte II buying shipping with Fedex ++ or equivalent services for a total of +3,000 usd (that currently I don't have by the way) So I will not say that what I am trying to do is good, neither the best option, and far away to be an example to follow, but, it is just for me, at that time, according many parameters, the way I could / will try, while keeping my fingers crossed ;-)

    I wish I could be there ... if it is real deal and according the pictures for the same amount of money I would hardly be able to buy 2 forte and ship them (traditional postal service ..) to Cambodia where I live .... Lucky the one who will catch this opportunity 4 chorus II at the four corner of a big living, all plugged on one or two Mcintosh tubes amp or similar .... kind of dream ... Enjoy

    Thanks I try indeed, as I am convince that I would make a mistake buying something else then not being fully satisfied while not changing because of heavy shipping cost ... so I stay calm , and sometimes, I go for fitness or meditation ... waiting for music listening possibilities ;-)

    Thanks for the advice, Indeed I am going to .... stay there .... (already 10+ years + family + ...) The new material is tempting , unfortunately money is not yet at the good level , so I maybe make a mistake but I try to catch a not too non reasonable option ... , knowing that I have to cross my fingers until I plug the material ...     @pbphoto, the only thing that goes wrong at the early beginning is that in Cambodia you only find terrible sounding karaoke equipment ... now that said, I am always open to good and constructive ideas, So following your post, what do you propose ? (considering I would still hope to buy some klipsch vintage speakers ...) Cheers .

    No way to find forte II that the seller ship internationally..... Frustrating as I am more and more convinced that these speakers will fit with my needs I saw several for sale last few months and the time I decide myself to go for it, they all disappear...

I am now looking for Klipsch speakers Forte II at a good price ;-), international shipping still mandatory ;-) (I unfortunately missed a pair of these on Audiogon, mint condition, with all possible bob critess upgrades, 645 US$, but didnt know if the seller were ready to send these to Cambodia ... no time to ask him before they were sold ...) I will find , I will find .... speakers first then we will see ..... Cheers

    Many thanks to mustangerfourlife and mattSER for the inputs, it comforts me with the idea to go for Forte (Chorus II will be too expensive for me currently) its seems a good compromise price quality versatility and still heritage Klipsch long lasting speakers I will let you know how the story goes, and maybe if I can't catch some Forte I will ask mustangerfourlife if he can make a good offer for its Chorus II ;-) Bests .
