I guess I'm trying to find a receiver that is something not entry level, but a step or two up from that to at least get more from the speakers I wish my budget was more, and I would go with the last options you gave me, it's just a little out my price range.

Sorry to keep asking, but what other brands and models would you suggest?

So would the Yamaha RX-V679BL be that much of an upgrade from the model that I have?

My budget is $500 - $600 for the receiver

Hi. I have just ordered 2 R-28F, 1 R-25C , and 1 R-12SW. I will later on probably add 2 surround speakers. My worry and question is that i was told that the Yamaha, RX-V481BL 725w 5.1-Ch receiver would be sufficient for running this, and i just wanted to be sure that it really is. I have bought the receiver from Best Buy so can easily return it and change it for something else.
