  1. After the unsuccessful Firmware update, did you try a factory reset with the button in the back? Did it do anything? I would be surprised if there was no kind of backup firmware in case something like that happened.
  2. Hey folks, What ever happened to the Klipsch Idea Submission Web site? I submitted an idea a long time ago to help those who (like myself) wanted to keep their PM 2.1 system portable for LAN Gaming / Parties / etc. Essentially, I'd love to see a Duffel-style bag, with padding, and interior 'compartments' to carry my speakers. I'm sick of unpacking, and repacking into the box they came in. While I've got everything nicely packed, I feel it would be more convenient with a duffel bag to carry my speakers. Build it around the sub, on one end, and two padded compartments for the main drivers, with enough room behind them for the wires to tuck away. Closures can be a zipper or quick release buckles. Anyone else think this would be a good addition to the Klipsch Gear Store?
  3. Oh I understand fully. I'm not basing *just* on the limitation of the 96/24 support. More of the fact that I would like to get into DSD and related HD Formats. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, AudioQuest at the moment will not support DSDs and doesn't have an idea if / when they ever will. One of these years, I will make the trek out to come see Klipsch in person.
  4. I played with the DragonFly Red for a little while with my Image One v2 On-Ears. Nice and black, sounded excellent. Only downside is AudioQuest nerfed the ESS DAC to only handle up to 96/24 - 192/48 with no support for DSD, and no support in the near future. I looked at the TEAC HA-P50 as well as a couple other portable DACs and out of all of them, the OPPO seemed like the best choice with Native DSD and a Class AB amp.
  5. Hoping to get an answer from someone at Klipsch - I was just looking at what I *hope* are new Reference Over-Ear headphones (http://www.klipsch.com/products/reference-over-ear). I'm planning on, if they are going to be released, pairing them with a decent Portable Headphone DAC / Amp, the OPPO HA-2SE (https://www.oppodigital.com/headphone-amplifier-ha-2SE/). Anyone on the inside know when they're going to be released for Purchase? Thanks!
  6. Well some good news. Jeremy from Klipsch Customer Support called me the very next day after I had reported the damage. They didn't hesitate to send me a UPS Label to ship back the damaged earbuds, and they will be sending replacements ASAP. Now to just sit back and wait for the Warehouse to receive the damaged 'buds and ship the new ones!
  7. Hopefully I can get input from a Klipsch Rep on this topic. I recently put in a Warranty RA Request for my R6 In-Ear earbuds. No problem there, they were shipped out and picked them up tonight. Well, as you can see from the pictures I've attached, it looks like someone at United Parcel Smashers ran over the package a few times! I'm not sure if the earbuds survived, I'm afraid to take them out of the package now. I put in a new ticket to Klipsch Support, hopefully they can help. I don't know if I should deal with UPS and their long, drawn out Damage Claim process. I've heard nightmare stories about that. Can someone from Klipsch *please* reach out to me about this?
  8. Well, my poor, well used Image One v2 headphones are sadly starting to fall apart. They still work beautifully, however, the foam in the left ear cup is starting to fall apart. I can feel it, and see it through the cover. I doubt there is anyway to fix this. I am pondering getting the newest versions, the Reference R6 On-Ear, since they have 'open' cups as opposed to the closed cups of the Image Ones. I wonder if I could send my old ones back to Klipsch despite being out of warranty for responsible 'recycling'?
