What do you mean "what do I mean"? Put brown grills in sunlight for 25 years and they fade to a grayish green color. Never had UV protection on that style cloth. They all do this when exposed to direct sunlight. Also those woofer surrounds have something funky going on. At least that is what I see. What do you know about them?

This has happened to me on more than one occasion. It is happening to me again at this very moment. What should I do?
I have tried to buy this (insert item here) immediately.
Told the is was on vacation.
I offered to paypay to secure the sale.
Told the seller does not have the capability or preference to do so at the present time.
Offered to make an appointment at the sellers earliest convenience.
Told a day and time and we finalized the price. Commitment was made verbally by both parties.
Since then, I have received (2/3) phone calls from the seller.
Both times were his attempt to extort more money from me above our commitment set on previous phone calls, due to unprecedented demand and offers from various sell sites.
What should I do?
How do I prevent this from happening to me again in the future?
If you are the seller, how would you protect your buyers from this kind of experience from your sale?

Bought is just now, want me just to get my money back, or swing by your home?
😉
OK. You store it. I will let you know when I need to strip it down. You can swing by then. 👅

I have arranged a purchase for this item. I have an appointment. Please respect my claim on it. Don't worry there will be plenty of parts available for everyone. Check back in 48 hours.

I figured someone is eventually going to be asking for replacement passive. NOS is NLA. I already have one woofer, and would then have a pair of woofers FS immediately.
-
LOL! That is how I was going to get your parts. Was just about to call him. Let's work something out. PM sent.

I can get you what you want. I need to go shopping though. 65 miles for me. Would $100 + shipping be fair?
-
Anyone need parts? Passive is NLA in the original form. I have access to this single, but apprehensive about storing more Klipsch parts.

Fantastic product. Great price. GLWYS.

Undervalued for the past 15 years. Exceptional product for the price. Prices are only just beginning to catch up. Expect them to continue to appreciate over the next several years. $750 is only average. $500 in parts alone. Add $50-$100 for walnut. Condition and location are important factors in current pricing trends.

I love what you did with the place. That 1.75" will have zero deflection and proportions nicely with your hardware. Don't use the food safe mineral oil here. Non-Drying with zero build.
Drying oil (BLO or Tung) schedule:
Oil once each day for 1 week
Oil once each week for 1 month
Oil once each year for life

Thanks for the feedback guys. Be great to have one of these, or one for each channel!
Understood. Sure wish we lived closer to each other. Good luck with your sale.
@314carpenter, are you still driving around the country?
Nope. Came home empty too. I had a few options, and missed one sale I really wanted. My wife was happy the way everything went so that is a blessing.
Those subs look like they could rattle the nails loose from the studs in the walls. Are they in stock configuration from Klipsch or partial diy? What are the specs on them when given proper amplification?

They will sell for that. He's got the location, original boxes and upgraded components. Just takes the right buyer who wants all that.

Thanks. 200 miles away. Maybe I will make an offer.

These flippers drive me nuts! What ever they buy them for they just double the price and wait 6-9 months for a big fish to offer enough profit to pay the rent. Does not matter where either, they are scattered all over the lower 48.

Gone. I missed out. Was hoping for a full load on the trip back home. Day late. Dollar short.

Amazingly I have been to Osseo more than once to sell Klipsch speakers. It is the tiniest of towns.

Good luck with the sale.
Unaffiliated. We do not know the seller. Just a place to post ads that are of interest.

Amazing after 8 days in Seattle they are still listed. 1 day of pay for most in the area.
