  1. Here you go. This will get you 30 years worth. https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/share-with-alcohol-vs-drug-use-disorder
  2. I often wonder if 4 generations of being the worlds largest consumer (by far) of illicit drugs has anything to do some of this crap? No offense to any individual.
  3. Culture is vastly different here. You wear a mask in Japan as a sign of respect and and greatly appreciated for doing so. Doing something for someone without asking is the standard. Here in the U. S. wearing a mask is a sign of weakness. Someone may think you are sick. Don't want that heaven forbid. Here it is like, it is MY body. MY choice. MY constitutional right. I am not sick. I am stroooong. We may even be seen in the streets hugging each other without wearing masks while protesting the government for our rights to become sick! Only way our entire culture is making a wholesale change from this "learning experience" is death counts. We are screwing ourselves on this one. Blame China, blame "Bat Lady", blame inner city population density. Whatever, look around at your own neighborhood. Does it look like the scenes of Japan that you see on the news reels?
  4. http://www.lb7.uscourts.gov/documents/15-11152.pdf M-80s were always flash powder and not nitro so not the same as dynamite. Todays 1.4G firecrackers in the U.S. max out at 50mg. of flash powder. Larger fireworks on a stick are allowed. Some M-80s of the past could have had 60X that amount. This is the best U.S. supplier I have found. Can get whole or partial shipping containers direct from China for you if your up for it. https://www.76fireworks.com/category/Firecrackers
  5. Got my profile back to 50% capacity. Don't want to leave the site completely void of content so I will leave as much as possible. Hopefully an upgraded server comes along before I run out again.
  6. Thanks guys. I suppose I will now spend the rest of my day on the Klipsch Forum cleaning up all of my old content.
  7. Edited. Amazing pictures. Now available. Exclusive sale opportunity. Forum members only. Please click the like button on post #1 if you approve.
  8. Like flowing lava, look at how it just runs down the side!
  9. Unless they are sitting under a spotlight, expect a more muted, less vibrant experience in your listening space.
  10. Photography is a challenge. Trying to get the color correct.
  11. Stay tuned. Took a couple of extra days. Did not want to rush. These stages do take time to cure before progressing. Just waiting for the final cure before I can post the final pictures. The sale will begin on 5/3/2020. Pricing will also be posted then. The entire thread in fact will be updated. This will be a Klipsch Forum Exclusive Sale. That's right! Not listing anywhere outside the forum before June and possibly even longer if interest keeps up. I will have a complete list of the locations where delivery will be available. It is a surprisingly large area and covering many states. Once sold, these will be coming direct to the location of your choosing free of charge. There will only be one set price. No bidding. No haggling. Hi-Rez photos will be sent by email to Forum members (post count >10) that request them.
  12. Went to Costco to investigate and top off my freezer. I waited for the meat truck to arrive to deliver the days supply of fresh meat. Resticted to 3 meat items per account. Truck arrived at 11A.M. Store coolers were full at 1 P.M. The coolers were all empty by 5PM. Hamburger was first to go, although they had more to process, followed by chicken breast and then pork loins. Fresh cuts always sell first. People apparently do not like to butcher whole portions themselves. Too bloody. Another tip...bagged salad. Large retailer told me they were shorted 400 cases. Just reporting the trend. About the freezer shortage. No surprise there. Would you be shocked to learn there is someone on a local ad page renting out freezer space by the cubuc foot to the general public now that they are all gone and he has 25 sitting in a warehouse? Just fake news. Another side note: I got real lucky managed to buy 24 bottles of 4oz hand sanitizer from Costco. Limit 1. Single pallet. Off brand. Have not seen any hand sanitizer anywhere in 6 weeks. BTW - NFS. OK, Going back down to my bunker for the day.
  13. OK, I am on board now. Although I don't personally believe that SARS-CoV-2 was developed to be used as a bilogical weapon, I can see now how Covid-19 could be in fact lab originated. Even if that could ever be legally proven, I do believe now that SARS-CoV-2 would have eventually happened naturally anyway without any human intervention. They have been studying these bats for a decade to prevent this exact thing from occurring naturally. It would have happened anyway. It will happen again. There will be more new coronavirus caused pandemics to come in the decades ahead. At least these labs did developed the first antibody test used to find the infections in the bats in the first place. Thats how you got human test kits so early here. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8279859/Bombshell-intelligence-lays-bare-China-lied-coronavirus-outbreak.html
  14. Covid-19 is here to stay. 18-24 months with repeated waves before reaching herd immunity level of 60%-70%. At that point it then becomes endemic (forever) just like the coronaviruses that cause 25% of our common cold, and the H1N1 flu (Spanish flu), and the H1N2 flu (bird flu). Remember that any "vaccine" will not have a 100% efficacy. This years flu shots had efficacy rates of 45%, which does include the vaccine for that same flu (H1N1) we have been fighting since 1918. Page 6 of the article linked below shows a chart of 3 possible scenarios we can expect. 1) Peaks and Valleys. 2) Fall Peak 3) Slow Burn Quote" As the pandemic wanes, it is likely that SARS-CoV-2 will continue to circulate in the human population and will synchronize to a seasonal pattern with diminished severity over time Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) Academic Health Center at the University of Minnesota https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/sites/default/files/public/downloads/cidrap-covid19-viewpoint-part1.pdf

    Sorry Re-post
  16. I have become aware of how extemely obscure and narrow in scope all of the websites are where you have been getting your links from. Regardless of your opinions of specific topics, at least the links I choose to share are from wesites and scientific journals recognized around the world. Not trying to argue a side, just work on your sources please. Go ahead and quote me once in direct response to my post if you feel you must, but please refrain from quoting me again in the future, for any reason, on any subject. Find another target.
  17. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ele/d/stillwater-klipsch-heresy-ii/7116262906.html $400 in Black. Cabinets may need a little work.
  18. I think that was wild birds eggs having thin or no shell. So not really an egg at all, compromising the future generations of wild birds, some of which happen to eat billions of mosquitoes.
  19. Just want you to look at this curve showing daily Covid-19 new cases count in my home state of Wisconsin. Like a 2 hump camel. This is what happens when your state legislature determines the best move is to break stay at home orders and instead have 400,000 people go out and vote in person, all while simultaneously closing thousands of polling stations forcing everyone into endless lines for hours. So now the pot has been brewed and it is all fresh again. Cool. Thanks for helping us out. GOV https://infogram.com/covid-19-diagnoses-and-7-day-average-in-wisconsin-2020-1h7z2lgerzly4ow
  20. Just so some of you guys know Dario Argento was doing slasher films a full decade before Freddy and Jason were even a thing. Is to thriller films what Sergio Leone was to Spaghetti Westerns.
  21. Then you may be interested in this as much as I am. Kind of a 2 for 1 for me. https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/dance/9366677/daft-punk-film-soundtrack-dario-argento
  22. It is with heartfelt disappointment that we must announce today the official cancellation of AXPONA 2020 that was to be held August 7-9. We make this decision out of concern for the health and safety of all AXPONA participants. We thank everyone who had committed to making the 2020 event the largest and most attended AXPONA in history. These are enormously challenging times for everyone and it is our hope that we all stay strong, caring, healthy and united. Our industry will come through this together and we will be in a better and safer world on the other side of this crisis. We know everyone is hurting right now. Some more than others. Many businesses in many industries are being hammered by the impact of this pandemic. JD Events, the producer of AXPONA, in particular is facing a financial calamity due to the disastrous impact on tradeshows. Many expenses have already been spent on the show that we will not recoup. We are actively working on 2021 but wanted to get this message out to you as quickly as possible to advise that we will be offering refunds if requested. We are however hoping that you may consider rolling over your 2020 ticket to the 2021 event to help us. As a token of appreciation, you will receive a FREE companion ticket for next year’s event. If you are not in a position to do so, you will receive your refund, no questions asked. Please respond by June 1st , 2020 to jenabeth@jdevents.com and let us know one of the following options: - Yes I want a full refund. Your refund will be submitted on the Friday of the week you submit it and refunds then take 7-10 business days to appear on your credit card statement once processed. - I want to help ensure AXPONA’s long-term success please transfer my ticket to 2021 and in appreciation I will take a free companion ticket for 2021. Details how to register for the companion ticket will be sent in early 2021 once ticket sales are available. On a positive note, we are excited by the response to the “AXPONA Livestream” event on what would’ve been our April 17 opening day. We plan to conduct more virtual events in the coming months to keep the community connected during this down time. It remains our pleasure to serve this great industry. Thank you all for your understanding and your support. Best, Jenabeth Jenabeth Ferguson Vice President, Event Director JD Events 203-371-6322 ext. 213 jenabeth@jdevents.com *No transfers or refunds will be available after June 1, 2020
