NEW LAMP STANDS FOR THE THEATER!

#118 and #119 first production run

Now I have 2 pairs front and rear. Not bad for a surround channel. These will obviously not work underneath my screen in center position, so I will not be adding any more of them in my room. I have the slightly smaller model to run the center and rear positions. The sibling bookshelves are chained to the ceiling. I wish I could pull these 3 feet out into the room and allow them to breath. That is why I have so much acoustic treatment. Allows for corner placement without the bad side effects. Open invite to anyone who wants to listen. I would put them up against ANYTHING you have under $5K. These really are 30HZ-27KHZ and do all those frequencies extremely balanced and neutral. I have a 150W X 6 Classé which is bridgable to 300W X 3, but I could do even better with a 300 watt Krell!

STILL NO QUALITY WOOD VENEER SUBWOOFER????

I know what you mean. I am trying to find a 30 year old teak JBL B460 right now for my other system.

Subs are always like..."hey I am just a huge ugly monolithic black cube trying to hide in a shadow.  Don't put any wood veneer on me, your wife might be able to see me."

I am not completly sure where the "Heritage" emblem gets hung on that product though.

Yes but I have tried hard to keep the same spectral balance in the paul’s heritage models as he likes them. So a cw4 would fit well with a h3 or vice versa. There some physics/acoustic stuff that can’t be over come but they sound like a family of sound products.

According to the poll numbers 33 pairs of Cornwall IV's should have already been accounted for. Not bad considering they have not even released yet.

Chief, did you get a chance to vote? Oh, that's right, I guess you already did when you chose to design the CW IV. Thank you for going all of your hard work. They look so good. I am happy to see the activity within this thread was able to get your attention. Hope all of this helps the cause. I was confident that a "NEW" product would eventually hit the showroom floor. I just never expected one so soon.

I bet the Cornwall IV will sound no different than the Cornwall III, even though the Cornwall IV supposedly will cost more.

Regardless of audible differences and prices, at least they are not Klipsch Pro Audio right? Therefore they come in beautiful wood cabinets handcrafted with awesome skilled labor right here in the U.S.A. They will at a minimum look amazing in a home.

The Poll is flawed because it doesn't take into account price.  A company has got to be able to amortize R&D

I agree with all of your recent comments above. In my defense I am not a research specialist. I am a Klipsch enthusiast. My intent of the poll all along has always been to generate interest in a "new" product and find where most others here place their preferences regardless of price.  The poll was started long before any public information about any "new" product rumors or announcements. Hindsight. Good job by Klipsch keeping the wrap on this though.

I don't want to announce anything before Klipsch does

I am willing to edit, or mute if it helps the cause. Just seemed like a good thread for me to post what comes up on google search. Well, now that there is something to actually search that is.

But @Chief bonehead is very busy trying to figure out how to make pro sound good in the home, and more importantly, how to make hip-hop, rap and disco sound good on Cornwalls and La Scalas.

I was busy eating popcorn during that epic event.

I thought it important to note here that in my opinion, being a carpenter and all, I happen to really enjoy things made out of wood. I get a lot of enjoyment out of the consumer (home) versions of Klipsch speakers vs their pro counter parts. Those beautiful cabinets keep me on the hook. I live among my speakers.

So they are an all new mid horn I take it? Wow...$6,000 MSRP. I guess that can help pay for retooling a mid horn....if that's what they did. I'm sure they will sound great.

$3K each...already exceeds the total of what I payed for 6 pre-owned Chorus II's. Apples to oranges, I know. Oh well, knew they would not come cheap. I really do hope they are 6X better. Not that I have faith in that. Just that it would really be something.

Holding out for more info and reviews on the new midrange. That was the one thing that to me was in dire need of an update.

My local Certified Klipsch Heritage  Dealer was one of the first in the country to have set up in the showroom the AK6 Klipschorn. (The La Scala AL5 were my favs.) I may just get a chance to listen soon after Rocky Mountain.

  8. Which Home Theater?

I have not posted in this thread before, so I though why not now.

The dedicated theater room is currently getting a back wall makeover so here is a pic taken showing the recent front wall makeover. I run JBL in there

The Klipsch room is a non-dedicated all purpose space. Ready for anything.

  9. Today I got all the wood I needed for my next project. A custom made audio equipment rack. This one will go in the JBL theater room. It will not be like the last 2 racks I made that are sandwiched between Klipsch Chorus II's. I am planning for something a bit more toward the high end furniture look with this build. 60" height 25" width 20"depth with casters. 7 shelves plus the top.

  10. There is another pair closer to home for $800, and at least that one comes with a RC-7 center. I said "go fish" to that "deal".

I do however remember selling a pair myself on ebay and collecting $750 so I guess it may happen for these guys too.

I just thought it was funny to see quartets listed for $1100. Pretty sure that shattered the previous record.
